I hate being in "regional" Australia. Sometimes I get mail from England faster than I do mail from Sydney.
Only 2 more weeks though and I'm moving to London. There the mail is faster!..... when they're not on strike. 😀

Oooo! So perhaps there's hope for a nice surprise tomorrow for me. Let me know how the installing goes.
The installation went great!!! Except for the bootcamp....its the first I use this...when I was installing the windows xp disk, it suddenly died on me saying"failure to boot from the disk" and stuck on that black screen.....no matter what key i press, it won't respond.
I had to hard reboot the mac and use the option key to switch to
and then eject the cd......I don't know what to do now.....
ps. the Windows XP CD was a recovery CD that came with my friends PC.....anyone can help??

The warning make it very clear
That you need not just a copy of XP but one with SP2 on the same CD; must be a full stand-alone copy not anything that came with a PC purchase... You can find them for very little money on various web sites.

I'm loving it. Though I do agree the menu bar and dock look pretty fugly with some backgrounds. 🙂
