I was counting on you getting yours ahead of us so we could see something of Leopard in a Video blog. Very annoyed with rural delivery.

But surely it would have been listed as "shipped" on Order Status. I was hoping they'd have shipped by today so they have the weekend to move. But it's not looking promising. Ah well.... good things come to those who wait.

Tradtional Apple stickers.
Install completed, went the erase install option, took 40mins, i skipped the disc verification process as didnt want to wait, but so far everything seems extra fast, the 3D dock is just so nice on the eyes, mail upgrade is tops also some nifty features.
Just installing iLife 08 and iWork 08 so will see how they perform.
Theres already an update via Software Update, "Remote Client Desktop."
Have fun guys hope yours arrives soon if it hasnt already!

Rang Apple, apparently with the storm there was some problem so it wouldn't be delivered till Monday. So I'm canceling and going to buy it at Nextbyte tonight
just came home from uni then to find my TNT package which came at 11:30... just installed! upgrade took 20 mins... my mac specs are in my sig. im gong to do a fresh install a bit later on after ive played with it! let me just say quicklook is the is bomb! i almost cried its so good!

What was the last TNT update you had before it arrived?

The TNT site said it had arrived in Auckland at 5 am. I popped into the local depot on the way home from work and they didn't have it, and say that the tracking number isn't even in the system!
However, they were able to tell me that if it was sent yesterday there's no chance I would've been able to get it today, ie. rather than being a courier holdup, Apple actually sent it too late to fulfil their "delivery on the 26th" promise.

Just as I started browsing this forum for the first time the door bell rang. It was TNT with my delivery of Leopard Freaky or what.
I'm in Brisvegas. Just to let you know that my package came with a sticker for the driver
"as a one off and only for deliveries to private addresses if the consignee is not at home, Apple authorises this to be left in a secure location and without signature"
So for those at work, don't fret! Your package should be waiting when you get home!

after installing and the first boot the leopard desktop appears with the space intro video
finder as it appears after the upgrade
2D dock on the side
don't worry aqua blue is still there! (but it looks hideous with the menu bar)
desktop with my previous background
parallels runs great! feels much snappier in tiger my CPU usage was around 15-20% now 5-10%
goodbye tiger... weve had a lot of great memories...

At first i thought i had a bug.. but it seems others having same thing.
Quicklook and Files Coverflow makes life so much easier definitly a feature
worth upgrading for alone. Stacks "download" folder was much appreciated i was always creating my own download folder for Tiger and setting it at safari default, so good old apple have done that by default which is good to see.

I just called APPLE Australia again, the rep said the UTD discs are being packed and will be shipped out TONIGHT via AUS post, will take 2-3 working days to arrive This sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
