I got my copy of Leopard at 12:40PM.

Installed and easily put back in all my settings.

Like the new backgrounds, and the dock is pretty.

Quick Look is a time-saving way to preview files, while Cover Flow works smoothly.

Apple Australia is beyond bad. They have ****ed me over sooooo many times. I was assured and even got an email confirming that my copy of Leopard would be delivered on Friday which it needed to be since I'm moving to LA on Monday and now they're saying Tuesday or Wednesday.

I forwarded the email from them and they said "How do we know you didn't forge that email?!". They are such a bunch of incompetent, lying ****ers.

Last year they sent me a faulty MacBook and as soon as I put all my stuff on it, updated the software and restarted it the HD failed and I lost everything and because my iPod was syncing with the MacBook when it crashed the iPod got wiped and screwed up too which was my music backup. Apple said too bad.

They should all be working in a fruit shop.

Damn it you guys - I was holding out but the end of the day is approaching and I'm compelled to go buy the damn disc! ;) :D

Got it at 11:30 AM today, clean install and had it running by 1 (give or take half an hour).

Absolutely loving it, although things can get a little choppy when moving items around the dock - does this happen to anyone else?

I know....why can't they just send them with the retail ones?! Cheap @$@#...sure know how to ruin our weekends:(!!!

Well, my new Macbook arrived today so it wasn't a complete loss for me. But it's kind of annoying me now because there are a lot of things I can't be bothered re-downloading just to have Leopard replace it in a few days.

Got mine from Pitt Street just now (about a ten minute queue) and am home now prepping various drives so I don't ruin anything! Some school kid was in the store taking pics with his iPhone – damn, I want one of those too!

It's running just fine on my 1.2GHz G4 iBook with 512MB RAM.

One thing I've noticed is that my machine doesn't support the translucent menu bar.

But it sure is purty....

I just called APPLE Australia again, the rep said the UTD discs are being packed and will be shipped out TONIGHT via AUS post, will take 2-3 working days to arrive :mad:This sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just checked and mine's shipped. At least that's something. :)

Arrived at 3:20PM, which kinda ticked me off as I live less than a K away from the Brisbane TNT Hub, but I guess it came from the airport.

Clean install, runs great. However, software update is not working, hasn't been since 4PM.

I guess there may be a hell of a lot of people pinging it and/or a problem with Leopard's SU?

Good for you:cool:!!!! Mines still yet to move......

Give it time. I think that's only changed in the last hour or two. I'm predicting a Tuesday / Wednesday arrival. Though it does say "Delivered by 1 November". Who knows, maybe by then 10.5.1 will be out. :D
