sorry guys I jumped the gun, the store ones was darker as I’ve been told they have demo mode and don’t go as bright but at home it’s much better so I’m sorry I was wrong, I still don’t like the taller notch lol

I noticed mine before seeing that thread, in the same lightning conditions when I was using my 12 pro max, I’m having to bump up the brightness on my 13 pro max by a extra 10%

Not a deal breaker, loving the phone, just wanted to make sure I don’t have a faulty phone, could be a software bug, or like @Limeybastid said in one of his post earlier on here.

13 pro max battery is a absolute beast.

Took the phone off the charger around 5:30am, Currently on 93% 1h45m usage.

Normally at the 90% mark on my 12 pro max, I’d have 1h30m or less usage.

I think it’ll take a few days for the battery to settle down. I checked my usage this morning and overnight while the phone was on the charger, the photos and messages apps were running in the background, presumably to index all my photos on iCloud and sync my messages.

Nah man. Tried everything I can except restore the iPhone, which I’m not gonna do.

Seems like the issue the widespread and you’re one of the lucky ones who got it work.

Most likely iCloud doing its thing, should settle soon, I’m not using iCloud, just hit 90% 😳👇🤭💪🔋

Wouldn’t bother restoring, apple will fix it with a future software update.

It’s a beast of a phone that’s for sure, this macro mode is amazing, uploading the photos on to here doesn’t do it justice, since it loses contrast and sharpness.
