I’m on a course with work so the days should go a bit quicker for me. My order is sitting at in progress, and the estimated delivery is the 27th, although the confirmation email, and chat rep, indicated launch day.
Friday would be ideal so I can get set up then send my 12 off to mobile monster the following Monday. But if it’s Monday that won’t be too bad, just means I won’t have the weekend to play with the new toy.
I was excited about this when I first ordered but I’m on annual leave during lockdown so I’ve had nothing more to do than watch the progress of my order, or lack of. 5 more sleeps!!
I was so angry that those were my choices. 😂 Only got my order in at around 10:50pm. I’m feeling OK now.
Perhaps choosing a lower-stocked item — a pink Mini — may have pushed the pickup date out at Doncaster?
Unfortunately glitches do happen, didn’t get my order in last year till 12:20an, 20 minute after preorders opened.
This year my iPhone wouldn’t load the store, kept getting the stupid almost there message 🤦♂️😂 My iPad came to the rescue, order went through first time this year.
Demand definitely isn’t what it use to be, remember when iPhones would slip to 2-3 weeks after 10-15 minutes on preorder day.
I’d be over the moon if I ordered 50 minutes after preorders opened and got it 2 days after launch day. 👌
Agreed with you but they weren’t $2k plus. That was the sub $1000 days.
Think it’s time they start having the event, preorders and launch all in the one week.
This waiting is starting to get old real quick, looking at you Tim Apple.

shipping times are crazy, must be the chip shortages, normally use to be anywhere between 1-3 weeks
Do you still have pick-up stock at your store? I'm thinking that they must have issues with delivery due to COVID
Nah Pro Max all the way. Tried the 12 Pro last year and it was too small.
not seeing any, stock levels should get updated once stores open.
Sydney store is my closest store and pick up stock are all gone for all pro max models.
@Boardiesboi your cases on the way? mine has been stuck in transit, Syd-Mel since Friday. 🤦♂️
