Iphone insurance is it legit

Yes it is legit. So if anyone does have any questions please feel free to contact me as i am the Owner and i also spoke with lukeman3000 back then. Well the comment on the website, yes it did suck but it was something i built and now have changed it and more changes to come. Google check out yes i was using Google while waiting for Authorize Net to set me up since there program works for App's also. You ask about the State farm agent, we send referrals to each other as i am also an insurance agent, that is why i started Phone Guard Global as i was aware that AT&T didn't offer coverage at the time and i just purchased my 1st iphone so i did some research and found a company that offered coverage with zero deductibles where the other companies have a 50-199 deductible. and now that i did more research i now have plans that offer theft and loss coverage along with accidental damage, water damage and normal hardware failure. So again if anyone has any questions about Phone Guard Global please feel free to reach me. my e-mail is adiaferia@phoneguardglobal.com

My Macbook Air is covered under State Farm insurance so surely an iPhone can be too.

Hmm, great idea. Did you simply add this to your personal articles policy? (same as wedding rings, etc) Did they provide an appraised value? deductible?

Phone Guard Global for iPhone is a scam!

Hi all, I have purchased this Insurance for my iPhone in 10/10/11 and had to file a claim in a month or so! The guys at PGG were nice in the beginning, they told me to buy a new iPhone and send them the receipt with a police report of lost IPhone.
I did so, and sent all required docs to them.
So around 12th of November I called them to find out the status of my claim. They were like, oh it's good you called, we tried to reach you to let you know that we had problems with our system and as a result lost all your Police report and receipt, and can you resend it to us and we will mail you the check in 7 days.
7 days later, there was nothing in my mail. I called them again, again and again...100x and no one answered!
So I go online and start chatting to one of them, he said that the Insuranty will mail me the check.
So after all this, by the end of December I was told that they had my address wrong and it will be resent to me, so far it's been siting on Antony's desk. And I still dont have a refund! Plust there is a $75 deductible and they don't reimburse taxes.
They are scammers!
Do not buy this Covarage.

I didn't expect to find them on Reseller Ratings but a quick Google search (has no one ever heard of this?) turned up the following:

The comment from Anthony promoting Phone Guard Global on this page is very fishy. Seems like he's posing as a customer:

No record at BBB.

Obviously he's either legit or he's not.
Yes, that is obvious. That could be said of anything though.

I wouldn't consider the word of one particular agent as suitable vetting. To each his own though.

In retrospect, I'm glad that I didn't do business with this company.

I personally never came up with any hard evidence that they were legit or not. On one hand, the fact that I called a state farm who verified him seemed to be pointing to the fact that it was legit. On the other hand, there were just too many unexplained things for me to feel really comfortable taking out insurance with them.

I ended up going with Squaretrade.

This company is a scam. You will not get any service from them after they take your money. We were ripped off and I don't want the same to happen to anyone else!!! :(

This has "RUN AWAY!!!" written all over it. Poor website design, offer too good to be true (no deductible? No occurrence limit? That's unsustainable) and the fact that the whole thing feels like amateur hour.

Lots of these "insurance companies" will happily take your money but when it comes to making a claim will make you jump through so many hoops and waste so much of your time that you would have been better off with AppleCare+ and paying their deductible. Remember, your time is worth money.

The only thing is that I wonder how I can verify if I was speaking to a real State Farm or not. Here's the contact info:

Vitiello Insurance, Joseph Vitiello*, State Farm Insurance*
583 Route 303 # B
Blauvelt, NY 10913-1106 map
New York, NY Metro Area

P.S. It was not "State Farm" you were speaking to if that's who you're referring to. It was an independent State Farm agent. Independent agents are not the same thing as "State Farm". For all we know, Joseph Vitiello may be related to "Anthony".

I thought the same thing at first with this company but i have purchased warranty's for 3 pc's in my office had one claim which they replaced a monitor for me. And now have coverage for my iphone and a blackberry. if you do the math his numbers do make sense. other company's charge deductibles which they keep from what i have been told directly by the competitor's and his price is a little lower also. i have been happy with this company so far.

G.

Your other post (the one when this account was opened) read like this:

I thought the same thing at first with this company but i have purchased warranty's for 3 pc's in my office had one claim which they replaced a monitor for me. And now have coverage for my iphone and...

So it seems that your only posts ever are giving praise for dodgy insurance deals.
