I am giving Apple until 5pm ojn Friday to change my status from Processing and if they don't then I shall head for the Covent Garden Apple store to pick up that 42mm Ceramic which has been dropping in to my dreams every night saying 'Come to me and buy me. You know you want me'
You are absolutely correct. When I first saw the watch on the Apple site I wondered wth they were thinking.
While at the mall I stopped in and almost instantly said wow.
Then the battle began; order or not.
Days went by.
I called barclay and asked if they could hook me up with a finance promotion. I was hoping they would have said no. They said absolutely. Dammit my last out is out.
I can do some side work to pay for it. With zero % for 18 months I don't have to worry about tapping into the savings.

It's ordered just have to patiently wait
Mine was scheduled for delivery last week (or at least original Apple estimates when ordered on 9/9 at 3:25am) however got notice it was delayed. Delivery set got 10/11, however got a UPS tracking number and it says original delivery date 10/11, scheduled for early delivery 10/8.
Now the question will be do I keep it after the 14 days window, I've almost cancelled my order a few times due to the cost, but just couldn't do it. So once I have it, and get a chance to wear it for a few days I will know what I am doing for sure. The cost is just hard to swallow...I wish I had got a 0% offer for 18 or 24 months that would have been nice.

Well online order time seems to have dropped from 3 to 4 weeks to 2 to 3 weeks for 42mm with pick up from stores down to the 28th October from 2nd November so I guess they are starting to catch up. Still stuck on the 27th October which is only a day in front of someone ordering now
I will call Apple tonight and see how confident they are about an early delivery

I have had an on going issue with apple for nearly 7 months. Over 200 emails, 32 phone calls and full tech support escalation. They asked me if there was anything they do for me.
Of course I asked to have my shipping date pulled in.
Got an email saying they couldn't because of the backlog.

If anyone waiting is near an Apple Store, check iStockNow each morning. Took me about 4 days to find a 42mm Edition at a local store. Good luck!
Outside of NY and Florida (and Toronto) I have not seen a new 42 show up in quite a while! I'm checking!
FFS the one at Covent Garden has been sold. No longer on the stock checker. I have no option but to wait now :-(

No I have had an on going issue with Apple and iCloud.
I receive other people's support/genius appointments and other things.
IStocknow tells you what supplies are at what retail stores and is constantly updated.
Dang, how'd you get them to do that? I called weeks ago and they said there was nothing they could do. I guess I should try again. Is there anything specific you had to say?
If it's an Apple rewards card call them and tell them you are interested in making a purchase at Apple and are wondering if there were any promotions barclay can extend.
It took me longer to ask than them to answer.
