One of the biggest modern music acts. This is a huge get for the Super Bowl
I’ve just seen so many comments across the internet saying they rather Metallica or Bruce Springsteen today
He is even popular with a lot of people who don’t typically listen to Spanish language music. Not many artists crossover without switching to English
My opinion only but Apple is continuing the tradition of sub par half time shows.

.You don't have to know any of his songs. Bad Bunny music is the background music at a club when you dance with someone. His music is just an excuse to get things going.
Bad Bonny has done some great stuff with WWE so it will be a great show.

Personally I think Metalica would do a crap show compared with what Ramstein would do. But Bad Bunny will do agreat job.

I'm not much of a Metallica fan but I'd lay good money people are still listening to them in 20 years. I would not say the same for most of the recent halftime acts.
I have come to accept that the halftime show is simply not for me. That's ok. The music market is for the young. Middle aged guys like me will be watching the game because football is being played, not for the halftime show.

Apple and the NFL have announced that Puerto Rican rapper and singer Bad Bunny will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show on Sunday, February 8, 2026. The performance will take place at Levi's Stadium, in Santa Clara, California.
Bad Bunny is one of the biggest Latin music artists of all time, with many chart-topping hits. He was named Apple Music's Artist of the Year for 2022.
Apple Music has sponsored the Super Bowl Halftime Show since 2022, with previous performers including Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, and others.
In the U.S., Super Bowl LX will be airing on NBC.

No one said he's a singer though. He is more like an artist that talks with a deep voice over nice beats and lyrics.

For those bragging they have never heard of him, Bad Bunny is not that obscure of an artist. He has performed at the Grammys and won a few awards.

He's a huge act--if you're fluent in Spanish (most of work is in that language). But Bad Bunny is not as mainstream in popular music as some think.
He’ll definitely put on a great show. Every show has been a huge spectacle since 2022 and they haven’t had any misses since (unlike the performances from The Weeknd and Maroon 5 in recent years).
The majority of those who watch the NFL, do not listen or know who Bad Bunny is. I would bet half of those that do, aren't really going to be that excited this artist at the half time show. As far as I know viewership is still down in general over the last 2-3 years for the NFL, I doubt this will tip the needle either way, and likely most people won't bother to watch the half time show. In the end, no one is going to care much other than the day before and the day after, and it will all be forgotten.
