MBP is 8 moths old, 269 load cycles, and I have 93% battery capacity left

*Recently got a new battery due to swelling, (As of August 10).

34 Months 5 Cycles;

Prior Battery was in the 375 region and still had a great charge, just couldn't use the track pad or keep the bottom base cover on.

Possible

type: MBP 15 inch
Age: 35 months
cycles: 885
max capacity(mAh): 6062
health 93%

Is this even possible?

From memory, my MBP is at around 180 cycles since new in November 2009.

Surprised that it's not higher, but it does spend most of its time at home. Battery still performing as new.

672 cycles, 39 months old, 37% health (Late 2008 MBP with removable batt.)

other macbook:

351 cycles, 33 months old, 76% health (on track for >1000 cycles)

Don't mean to hijack the thread but at what percentage health should the battery be replaced? If the battery drops to a certain amount within the warranty period would a new battery be covered?

Read the BATTERY LIFESPAN section of the following link for your answer.

This should answer most, if not all, of your battery questions:

3 months
120 cycles
96% health

Some of these numbers seem extremely low. Like 6 months and 40 cycles. how often do you all use your laptop? Granted I obviously use mine very often.

11 months, 90% capacity
318 load cycles
seems a bit lower than everyone elses on here. any tips on maintaining battery health?

My old MBP was at ~525 after 2 years. But that was really only 1 year because Apple replaced the battery a year into ownership.

Apple replaced that MBP, so my new one is at 6 cycles/5 days of ownership.

MBP 2.53GHZ C2DUO

Purchased new @ July 2009

Health Information:
Cycle Count: 478
