Does it? I guess after I checked the listed specs on Apple's website, it said "Up to 10 hours on Wi-Fi", and at that rate if I stayed on Wi-fi, I'd be good for about 8 hours. Maybe just because I expect it to be a do-all, be-perfect type of phone I expect the battery to last pforever.

From the two iPhones 4s I've used it seems about average. You have about 3 hours of standby and almost 2 hours of use so that's about normal I would say. Just like the poster above me said, it seems that some parts of the battery drain faster than the others. I would do a full charge and use it untill it's almost dead and see what numbers you get. I had 16 hours of standby and 6 hours 40 minutes of pretty heavy useage streaming music, watching videos, surfing, using gps, etc. If you get around those numbers with similar usage I would assume your good.

I got this from last night. I intentionally watched YouTube on 3G (even though I have Wi-Fi) and streamed music from Last.FM until it got down to 1%, then I just started taking screen shots till the phone shut off. This was the last one it took before shutting itself off.

Typically with all new iPhones I've had to give them a few days to stabilize, and the first couple cycles were lower than usual.

Just got my iPhone 4 last night and I used it today until I got down to 10% at 2PM. That's a WAY faster drain than on my 3GS and the usage is about the same. So I plugged it up and let it charge to 100% and now it seems to be draining much more slowly.

Just wait a few days, I bet it will get a lot better. If not I would go see a Genius.

Dont know if this answer been offered but I had bad battery also, Called apple and they had me do a reset to original rather from back up from my old 3gs. This fixed my problem. Made a HUGE difference.

I had battery problems to, but the solution was a replacement. I would lose 50% battery life while powered off. NONE of the above suggestions did anything. Luckily, the Genius Bar agreed that was a problem. They replaced it and I get at least 2-3 days battery life with light-moderate usage.

Odds are if you have a problem with the battery, your battery is BAD.

Mine takes forever to drain.. I always have around 40% left by the end of the day of normal use. Love the new battery.
