Mine's so far a tad better than my 5. Nothing mind-blowing, but it should get me through every day even with pretty heavy use, and that's enough for me.

Light usage on LTE/wifi with bluetooth on, 7 hours into the day and still at 94%. Seems fine here.

i felt the same (was 80% before I left the house this morning), although after usage for most of the day, we're sitting on 16% at 10PM.

Battery life on mine is great. Used it a good amount last night for texting, calls, browsing etc. after 12 hours I still had 71% left. I actually had to do quite a bit of work to get that initial drain for the first charge, turned the brightness all the way up, streamed a lot of video etc. and still took a while to drain the rest.

Big improvement over my 5, that thing would be at 85% after 30 min of listening to music over BT.

I got my 6+ at roughly 530pm yesterday, it was at 62%, I messed with it until about 2am- video, camera, activating, issues, gps to get home, restore, web, random apps, streaming music and case review videos while out and about today. It is now 4pm and it's at 18%, BT on, location on, screen 50%, I love this thing I'm sure I'll make it through 2 days easy.
I usually have my screen at 25% and BT off unless I'm in the car. I got a little over a day out of my 5s, so this should be a cakewalk.

I've had excellent performance with my 6 plus today.

Woke at 9 this morning with 100%, and I'm currently at 58%! Been watching, Facebook, web browsing, mainly on Wi-Fi but also a little bit of 3g.

Those complaining about horrible battery life need to wait a couple days, especially if you see the message that its still restoring

Those claiming the have super duper awesome battery life are either not using their phone or are FOS. Apple's own inflated numbers shows it to be on par with a 5S, actual reviews show it to be more or less (usually less) on par with a 5S too. So enough with the BS about how you used it heavily and 24 hours later you're still at 22% Your phone isn't that special.

Hopefully it gets better but first day of use at 100% at 7:30 am and by 11:45 I was at 28%

Anyone else getting less than desirable battery life on the 4.7 6?

I have to read more post on here. But that seems extreme. I charged mine this morning - took it off charger around 2 o'clock. It is now 6 o'clock and I am at 81%.

Got my Iphone 6 yesterday on T-Mobile. Used it for a few hours last night, charged to full overnight -- unplugged at 9am. By 3pm, I was at less than 10%.

Auto-brightness set, no bluetooth, location services off, no background refresh, used on wifi/LTE. I am really hoping this gets better today...

I got mine yesterday (iPhone 6, 64), restored from iCloud had an hour chat on Facetime and the battery went from 80% to less then 30%.
Full charge this morning at 11:00(UK time), checked Facebook(safari version) a couple times and send two text messages, spend maybe at most 15 min on youtube and my battery is 50%. It seems to last just like my iPhone 5 or less.
Hope it gets better or I'll have to return it and get the Plus.

I have to wonder what you aren't telling us or noticing about your usage. I have a two year old iPhone 5 that can last me for the entire day or more without charging, after playing games, browsing, taking video, etc.

Do we really need these look at me thread titles?

iPhone 6 battery life is not terrible.

Yours may well be (and you've every right to be annoyed), but why do people title their threads like they've discovered some major design flaw?

Unnecessary.

Speak to Apple, get it replaced.

When people post about their battery and usage, you all need to post the "Usage" and "Standby" times from Settings-General-Usage-Battery Usage. Not just say "xx% left with heavy/light/moderate usage".
and indicate whether it was mostly WiFi, mostly non-wifi, or a similar mix of the two.
Also brightness - Whether auto or roughly whatever % you've got it set to.

Don't see any issue with this... Many are reporting poor battery, I'am one of them, op could've been checking to see if this was just an issue with his or if it was a common issue, which it looks like it is. I think my iPhone 4 was like this and Apple did a software update to improve it.

The battery on the iPhone 6 is not that different then the battery on the iPhone 5S. 1,810 mAh battery is still weak compared to the 1,550 mAh of the iPhone 5S. On a side note I recommend draining battery completely 0% and leave for at least 2 hours. Then plug it in for charge.

I think the battery life on my new iPhone 6 is very good so far. I've used it for almost 6 hours so far since taking it off the charger at 5am today and it still has 65% left.

OP could also have titled the thread "My iPhone 6 battery life is really poor..."

That is utterly phenomenal battery life (if true). I would never be able to use my 5s for that period of time. The most I ever got from my 5s on a single charge was 4-5 hours. So far my 6 is neither fairing well, but I restored and set up it as a new device so I'll see see how that goes.

My iPhone 6+ battery is outstanding. Going on 10hrs of usage, 20 hrs of uptime and still 28% remaining! I hard reset my phone about an hour ago though so it wiped my battery usage screen (I had checked constantly before doing so which is how I still know the details of my current charge).
