I’m not gonna lie, I miss it too, lol.
Ok, I fill it out if you guarantee me no more threads about battery level dropped 3%, what’s wrong with my phone.I've had multiple iphones and the first thing I do, and my friends do is enable battery percentage on all our friends phones and they love it! I follow this religiously and so do a bunch of people I know. NOW, you can't see it on the XS unless you swipe down from the top of the screen. I'm going this 50 times a day. What can't you just have a toggle so the battery icon at the top right turns into a %?? There is room. Just replace battery icon with percent, and add a toggle in battery settings. That toggle is gone now. It's TOO HARD.
I called apple and they said if more people send feedback they will add a toggle so it will show percent at top right. Hope you guys can help and that you agree??

To me, the icon shows the battery level at a glance. It's pretty obvious to me if the battery is at 1/4 (25%) 1/2 (50%) etc....
I suppose it could be argued Apple should add it as an accessibility feature for those with poor spacial awareness?
If I need to know exactly, I swipe down or look at the battery widget. More often, I look at the battery widget just to see if my BeatsX headphones are charged, rather than the iPhone battery.
Such a non issue. Yawn.
That's pretty rude, obviously lots of people find it to be an issue or the subject wouldn't come up, you know, all over the place. Maybe you are new to the intermet and that's fine, but try to realise that it's not all about you, other people might have different opinions.
I agree with him. It's not an issue & a great decision by Apple. Everyone else should adapt & get over it.
It doesn't matter if you agree with him or not, the fact is that many are annoyed by this so it definitely is an issue.
But as I said, Apple made the right decision so you will have to get used to it. It would look stupid to cram a small area on the display with a statistic that's just a swipe away.
It's not a statistic.
It's a stat showing the estimated battery level. Therefore it's a stat.
That's probably more for the post that that was in reply to:What difference does the name you're calling it?
I'm calling it Bob.
It's a Bob that's a swipe away, but it didn't use to be like that. And it was a very useful Bob.
Doesn't change the facts...
