Clean up yours, sell them, and buy the ones with the wings.

My experience is that most of those 'add-ons' don't stay 'added on' for long, depending on if they are used, and your ear condition. I remember Worst Buy had a 'kit' of add-ons for the original Apple Ear Buds, and one was a set of 'wings', and they worked great, until they slipped off them. They seemed to get looser and eventually stopped working. I'd find them dangling on the cords, which saved them, but eventually lost one, and tossed the other. YMMV, obviously, but they weren't very good. Ears tend to be either dry, or oily, and if you have the latter, anything stuck in the ear will get slick, and anything put on any ear buds isn't going to stay stuck. I was disappointed that the Worst Try wings failed, but learned a lesson, I suppose. *shrug*

Duly noted. I really like my BSBs but thought if I could get wings for them I could skip buying the Beats Fit Pros whenever they show up in Canada.

Appreciate the feedback. Thanks kindly.

Hope it helped. I was disappointed that these new wing equipped buds came out. They could have released them at the same time. It would be interesting to see which model sells better. Wings, or wingless. Given the wide variety of ear shapes, it would be interesting to know what type of buds fits the most variety of ears.

I have thought that a company should start 3D scanning peoples ears to see how many variations there are, and help consumers identify what in-ear buds would (should) work better for them. I've gotten tired, over the years, of buying different models to see which ones might work better. Maybe this could be (should be) done by a third party...

I kept feeling that it shouldn't be this hard to find something that fits, and then meets the other requirements I have (water/sweat proof, etc).

So random thing I noticed today in the Bluetooth settings section for the BSBs, as I was checking to see if I had today's firmware release...

If you tap on the Version, it will show you the Case version number. If you tap on the Serial Number, you can switch back and forth to individual numbers for the left and right ear bud.
