Except, of course, for the fact that each of those states has a higher murder rate than NY. And the statistics also confirm that NYC is one of the safest big cities around. But you do seem pretty smart, so have fun in Detroit!

Yep. Crime has been going up a bit thanks to our mayor, but overall it's still one of the safest cities in the world. Now we need to halt the recent increase in crime and reverse it before it's too late and we go back to pre-Guiliani NYC... Those were dark days indeed. Perhaps people would commit fewer crimes if living legitimately wasn't so damn hard in this city... You lose about half of your income in city/state/federal taxes combined at this point.

This reminds me of an album cover.

Anyone got a stone large enough? :D

Once again we are all talking about something we haven't really seen, for the moment there is only a mockup available... We'd better wait for the real thing and compare what is comparable.

If you want a lower murder rate, don't move states, move countries. Intentional homicide rate per 100,000:
USA: 5–5.7
Australia: 1.3–1.9

Better still…
Iceland: 0.0!

Cube Design

I would have rather them make the cube taller and wider. Since this Apple Store is always filled with people and it obviously needs more space for customers and employees, I was hoping they would make a second floor. It would be really cool if the elevator went up to an all glass second floor.
