i woke up in a new Bugatti the day after.

lol you mean superficial people who need to show off to feel better about themselves because they're sad inside?

Or.. Maybe,....just maybe.....millions of gold ones where sold because all the other colors where sold out at the time and they had no choice, so they had to get the effeminate color or nothing.

Is this a troll thread? I use my iPhone everywhere, bus, train, parking garages, and nobody even bats an eye. The only time someone acts very interested in my iPhone is when I'm using Apple Pay, and usually the cashier is amazed, as with the person behind me in line.

That's about to be me!

I sure would wave it around when I use Apple Pay, bam!

This might come as a shock to you but the iPhone 6 is not such a premium item that the average Joe can't afford it. I live in NYC and people of all incomes, nationalities, ethnicities, and from all neighborhoods carry an iphone 6. Just be careful, as you would with any of your valuables.

Maybe a significant percentage of those are stolen phones.

Nobody cares if you own an iPhone 6. Just like nobody cared when your alledged friend was aledgedly arrested in an Apple store for bending an iPhone 6. I sure hope Find My iPhone doesn't let you down and that you are not bored with iOS 8. By the way, is your iPhone 6 the new secret super duper worldwide unlocked version that was only available after November 30th?.

I remember you telling us in a thread you created that you couldn't trust Apple Pay.

Oh. I don't but I'm just going to throw caution to the wind this time.

Oh and I might as well just come out with it, my friend was never arrested. Actually that whole thing never happened.

Go look through the OP's previous threads, a lot of them appear to be trolling as well. So yeah it probably is.

Can you stop spamming the forum with veiled anti-iPhone FUD, and nonsense. It's not even subtle.

Why yes, this flaming bag of dog excrement has done nothing but troll the site since it joined in September.

It's not an elusive item but everyone knows that the Gold one isn't for everybody. Only the higher income are able to use a gold iPhone with a sense of belonging.

Sounds like you're rich enough to replace it if it does get stolen then...

Maybe you deserve it a little if you think a phone defines the wealth of somebody.

I already got my 5s stolen and had to kiss it goodbye. But now I replaced it. We were at a party smoking weed.

So I have a 6, a 5c as a backup phone, and I may get another phone for my backup backup phone.

sounds like everything he says is a bunch of lies.

But anyways I'm not a troll. A real troll would never tell you that.

Everything I posted is true except for ghr Apple store arrest do you really think I'd be associated with somebody like that?

I have no idea how you've come to this conclusion, but it doesn't make any sense. Of course, most of your posts don't make sense, so I'm not surprised.

I'm pretty sure Apple did a research. They know what their fans are. They know what they like.

Ok so, it's the same thing. A poor person could afford a fur laced leather coat by Michael Kors. But they would never get it.

You planning on loosing your phone often then? Anyway great you do that.

Lol who are you to generalise so much?

I tend to flaunt it a little.

Lol, I got a kick out of this. You flaunt something that pretty much anyone can walk in and get for maybe $50 up front and $30/month. It's not like it's an exclusive or rare item or a particularly expensive item.

I do agree about the theft part though, iPhones are like Camry and Accord stolen parts, very popular targets for thieves because they resell easily.

In this economy? Ok. Not expensive? Ok.

The iPhone is quite expensive. Just like the Macs.

If it was any more expensive it would become non-discretionary

I'm about to get the iPhone 6. It's a very, insanely popular phone right now. And I'd just want to know if I'd be safe using one out in the open. And have you had any problems with this?

Well with the best phone on the planet will come certain risks. It might be worth considering either carrying an Android handset in public and keeping the iPhone for home use or employ a bodyguard in case things turn out ropey.

iPhone thefts are down 20% in the UK because of how easy it is to brick them and the introduction of Touch ID. This was discussed on our news as recently as a few days ago.

this thread is silly but i'm so worried some of you actually think that gold iPhones somehow have any air of wealth and sophistication. it's a different color. there is no real gold on the device itself. everyone paid the same price

Do you live and/or travel in Ferguson Missouri? I would keep it hidden if you do, lots of criminals there.

If your worried that much that someone will rob you for it maybe you should move lol. I have never once been worried about someone trying to take my iphone 6 from me. Sure if I left it sitting around I am sure someone would grab it. But it stay's glued to my hand's most the time and in my pocket the rest or beside my bed when I sleep..
