I received the 2 in 1 charger as a gift in December and its also stopped working... didnt even know that was possible for something so simple.

Similar problem happened but not on the iPhone MagSafe part, but on the AirPods charger.
Starting this week, the AirPods charger acted weird. When different AirPods put on it, the white light is on for several minutes, then off for several minutes, and then up again for several minutes.
I've checked the menu that the white light should be on all the time whenever AirPods is on the charger, no matter it's fully charged or not.

I have one of these, and although it's working perfectly with my iPhone 13 Pro and AirPods Pro 2, it has had problems charging my Apple Watch Series 3 (I know, I know...) for a very long time.

Sometimes the watch refuses to charge, and requires a reset (pressing both buttons until the apple logo shows up) to go back to charging normally.

I contacted Belkin about it long ago, but got no response. A real pity, because this is a really really good product otherwise.

the real fun "bug" i found with this is when it triggers incorrect passcode attempts on an apple watch until it locks itself out.

had a great time scratching my head over this issue for a long time until it dawned on me what was causing it

Fantastic timing for this article! My unit has been doing this lately and I’ve been going a bit mad trying to figure out what is going on!

So what exactly are they believing to be the issue here? Bellini firmware? Bellini hardware? Apple software?

Guess I struggle to figure out why a device that simply charges batteries would have such a widespread problem?
Same here, not quite sure what makes them fail, why and how they are “going to solve it soon”.

I got one, it’s working quite well, convenient. Would hate to see it bite the dust suddenly.

If this started happening around the beginning of August, my suspicion is that iOS 16.6 did something. Maybe it's incorrectly handshaking, asking for too much power, or something like that.
This sounds quite plausible, if it is the reason, hopefully it gets fixed quick enough.
Maybe some preparations or even code that leaked by related to the incoming night stand features.

Would be nice to know the iOS versions of those affected, however myself I’m on 16.6, iPhone 12 Pro, working fine to date.

Had one day left to return on bestbuy. Was leaning on returning anyway if Apple released new chargers for Apple Watch X but this sealed it. Returned.

I've use both local and travel with a Belkin Boost Charge Pro 3-in-1 and noticed this problem in the last two months.

The first time it happened, I didn't notice it wasn't charging overnight and only noticed when my iPhone 14 Pro gave me low power warnings the following morning. Since then I see if the MagSafe animation occurs. When it doesn't, I recycle the power and it works for at least the next few days if not longer.

Whoa! We have two ( easily one of the best tech purchases I've made in years) and my partner's JUST stopped working days ago, like this, and we just started looking into contacting them for warranty repair. Crazy to see this!
Us too... hers was white, mine is black… just got warranty replacement for the white one 2 days ago and working fine. Power blinked off several times in the night (only time phone on it), eventually worked erratically & sometimes not at all for iphone14, but did charge watch and AirPods fine.

I got the Belkin 3-in-1 back in May from Costco. Use it for my 14Pro Max, watch 8 and AirPods Pro…no issues so far. I like it so much am planning a second one for spouse when it goes on sale at Costco again.

If a 2 Meter MagSafe to USB-C adapter cable can receive a Fireware Version Software update. This charger can too? o_O

I don‘t think there is a communication spec for iOS MagSafe. I doubt there is even physical capabilities for that. FWIK this type of power is hard to do because of the heat generated. That MagSafe cable actually connects to a computer and a usb-c standard. MagSafe end has chip in it. Belkin charger is dumb with just power plug to it, no other ports, just MagSafe charging pads.

I was just considering the BoostCharge Pro. Was looking for a nice charger for the nightstand mode that is coming. Glad I read this.

Belkin's 3-in-1 BoostCharge wireless chargers with MagSafe compatibility seem to have stopped working for some customers, with several complaints surfacing on the MacRumors forums and Reddit.

According to affected users, some Belkin chargers are not able to recognize or charge an iPhone, even though the charger works fine for AirPods and the Apple Watch. Unplugging the charger and plugging it in again can work in some cases to force charging, but customers suggest that this is only a temporary fix. From the MacRumors forums:There are two versions of Belkin's BoostCharge wireless charger with MagSafe integration, one that has a standard Apple Watch charger and one with a fast charge Apple Watch charger. It appears that both models could potentially be affected. and there are also some reports from customers who have the 2-in-1 MagSafe charger from Belkin.

Reports about issues with the Belkin chargers started in August, and several customers have contacted Belkin support and have been told that Belkin is aware there is an issue.A customer on Reddit was told that a resolution would be available "in the coming weeks," but that was 21 days ago and it does not appear that the issue has been addressed as of yet. Some customers have been able to have their chargers replaced under warranty, or have been able to receive refunds from the point of purchase.

Devices that are not charging include the iPhone 14 models, but not all Belkin chargers appear to be affected.

A similar issue impacted the Mophie 3-in-1 Travel Charger with MagSafe back in July, and Apple pulled it from the Apple Store temporarily amid complaints. The Belkin charger has not been removed from the Apple Store at this time. Mophie was ultimately able to fix the issue with a firmware update kit.

I ordered the Mophie Firmware dongle to rectify two of the 3 in 1 travel chargers that I have. The dongle / firmware has been ineffective, as I am still getting issues on both devices where the phone fails to charge or recognise it’s on the pad. Zagg / Mophie aren’t responding to my emails so I guess that’s several hundred dollars more e-waste to add to the landfill.

Whoa. This has been happening with my wife's iPhone 12. Purchased the charger in 2021 Q1 and it had been working great until several months ago. Have since been running into an issue where we have to pull the power from the charger, power cycle her phone, or both to get it to work again. It seems like it has been happening more and more frequently as of recent. From the looks of this article and the other people expressing their issues here it appears there is a major flaw with the device. Hopefully there will be a remedy for us all.
