I have one of these, and although it's working perfectly with my iPhone 13 Pro and AirPods Pro 2, it has had problems charging my Apple Watch Series 3 (I know, I know...) for a very long time.
Sometimes the watch refuses to charge, and requires a reset (pressing both buttons until the apple logo shows up) to go back to charging normally.
I contacted Belkin about it long ago, but got no response. A real pity, because this is a really really good product otherwise.
Belkin needs something not sure an update but for sure reality of checking how to make better accessories. figure How to prevent bad products.Maybe it needs a Software Update?
Same here, not quite sure what makes them fail, why and how they are “going to solve it soon”.So what exactly are they believing to be the issue here? Bellini firmware? Bellini hardware? Apple software?
Guess I struggle to figure out why a device that simply charges batteries would have such a widespread problem?
This sounds quite plausible, if it is the reason, hopefully it gets fixed quick enough. If this started happening around the beginning of August, my suspicion is that iOS 16.6 did something. Maybe it's incorrectly handshaking, asking for too much power, or something like that.
Us too... hers was white, mine is black… just got warranty replacement for the white one 2 days ago and working fine. Power blinked off several times in the night (only time phone on it), eventually worked erratically & sometimes not at all for iphone14, but did charge watch and AirPods fine.Whoa! We have two ( easily one of the best tech purchases I've made in years) and my partner's JUST stopped working days ago, like this, and we just started looking into contacting them for warranty repair. Crazy to see this!
I don‘t think there is a communication spec for iOS MagSafe. I doubt there is even physical capabilities for that. FWIK this type of power is hard to do because of the heat generated. That MagSafe cable actually connects to a computer and a usb-c standard. MagSafe end has chip in it. Belkin charger is dumb with just power plug to it, no other ports, just MagSafe charging pads.If a 2 Meter MagSafe to USB-C adapter cable can receive a Fireware Version Software update. This charger can too?

Ha! I had the same predictive text error too. Bellini 😜So what exactly are they believing to be the issue here? Bellini firmware? Bellini hardware? Apple software?

I ordered the Mophie Firmware dongle to rectify two of the 3 in 1 travel chargers that I have. The dongle / firmware has been ineffective, as I am still getting issues on both devices where the phone fails to charge or recognise it’s on the pad. Zagg / Mophie aren’t responding to my emails so I guess that’s several hundred dollars more e-waste to add to the landfill.
Belkin's 3-in-1 BoostCharge wireless chargers with MagSafe compatibility seem to have stopped working for some customers, with several complaints surfacing on the MacRumors forums and Reddit.

According to affected users, some Belkin chargers are not able to recognize or charge an iPhone, even though the charger works fine for AirPods and the Apple Watch. Unplugging the charger and plugging it in again can work in some cases to force charging, but customers suggest that this is only a temporary fix. From the MacRumors forums:There are two versions of Belkin's BoostCharge wireless charger with MagSafe integration, one that has a standard Apple Watch charger and one with a fast charge Apple Watch charger. It appears that both models could potentially be affected. and there are also some reports from customers who have the 2-in-1 MagSafe charger from Belkin.
Reports about issues with the Belkin chargers started in August, and several customers have contacted Belkin support and have been told that Belkin is aware there is an issue.A customer on Reddit was told that a resolution would be available "in the coming weeks," but that was 21 days ago and it does not appear that the issue has been addressed as of yet. Some customers have been able to have their chargers replaced under warranty, or have been able to receive refunds from the point of purchase.
Devices that are not charging include the iPhone 14 models, but not all Belkin chargers appear to be affected.
A similar issue impacted the Mophie 3-in-1 Travel Charger with MagSafe back in July, and Apple pulled it from the Apple Store temporarily amid complaints. The Belkin charger has not been removed from the Apple Store at this time. Mophie was ultimately able to fix the issue with a firmware update kit.
