Don't chat with them.
Go to their warranty page and request an RMA. They will ask for model, serial number, description of the problem and a copy of the receipt.

Then wait.
Yes - WAIT - each of my emails said next step would be 2-3 business days - in total took 6 weeks, but they did replace and didn't want the original sending back, so I now have two. The new one has updated to the same firmware as the original one and so far (a week or so) both have been working fine ... (touch wood, I'll prob wake up tomorrow with a dead phone!)

Anyone hear any updated that Belkin is pushing a new Firmware?

Also, has anyone received a replacement and have that stop working yet??

I returned mine to Costco weeks ago and just waiting before I repurchase one. I really like the looks of this charger!

Update: they just shipped me a new one, despite out of warranty.

Cool.... customer support just emailed me asking to confirm if devices stopped charging. Hopefully they ship replacements soo

Anyone know how long does it take for devices to register? I did mine on 9/15 and my account still shows no devices

My wife’s 3-1 just started this issue a few days back. I just chatted with belkin and they refused to refund or replace. I haven’t even had it a month and got it directly from them. Great way to permanently lose a customer, belkin!
I replied to this earlier, but somehow missed the one month part... It would suck majorly if the packaging was tossed.

From Belkin's own website:

Products purchased from Belkin.com may be returned within 90 days of receipt of shipment. These products must be in new condition with original packaging and accessories. Products missing the serial number or UPC cannot be returned for refund. To return a product, please perform the Return for Refund process.

Instead of a return, it should be processed as a warranty replacement. I did mine on their website after reading this thread, and just got the confirmation email that they’re going to send me a replacement. They also said to discard the old one rather than sending it back. Overall not bad service I think.

I submitted mine last night, and got the email confirmation a few hours later. This morning I got another email saying it hasn’t been shipped yet because they are waiting for a restock, so not sure how long it will take to receive.

My wife’s replacement just stopped working (didn’t charge her phone last night).

I just got an email from Belkin saying they are sending me a check refund… What happened to the replacement? Did they stop making them or something?

When I saw your earlier post about waiting for stock, I thought: "Good, they must have a fix planned". Now I see they are just refunding, and now I'm worried they are aware it can't be fixed in existing units without a complete redesign.

Amazon is selling this pad for $99 right now. Is it safe to buy or is it still having issues?

I called today after a prior rep on live chat told me I had to call since my replacement device developed same problem. The rep offered another replacement but warned that it was a known issue and that they couldn’t guarantee it would keep working either. I requested refund and they told me I should have a response within 24-48h via email

I went ahead and had mine refunded through Costco. I didn’t have time waiting for a replacement device. I searched and found one that I like.

Well mine stopped working last night. My watch and AirPods charge but not the phone. I have the 14PM on ios17. I’m hoping it’s something that gets fixed soon as I love this stand. I did try a phone stand I have from Amazon and it is recognized. Come on apple or Belkin.

I didn’t use the box. I used an Amazon box and just made sure I included my order receipt. They refunded me the same day it was delivere.
I'm waiting for a Youtube video "I bought a $1500 Amazon electronics return pallet!" and the video shows they received 800 loose Belkin 3-in-1 chargers and one pink silicon 3rd party iPhone SE case.

do you guys know the manufacturing date of your failed units? its on the back side of the device, right below the serial number, on the inside of the cutout for the charger connector. I am wondering if this is any indicator, especially the date of the replacement units. on the other hand, I would assume belkin would know about this, and then not send out any more defective devices..

The warranty on these is 2 years in the US from Belkin. Some of the oldest units are a few months out of warranty (like mine). Replacing failed units until a year or so after the warranty expires would be good enough to wash their hands of the problem, unless someone forces a recall. The only flaw to that logic is they are still selling them.
