Anyone has done the install at apple store? And does any specks stay behind the screen protector? I have 3 specks And they are small but they bother me sometimes... I've been seeing the videos of there installs and they seems they are installed correctly and with the tape on top before they actually install the protector gives it a less of a chance to have dust behind the SP.....

I had my screen protector installed in an Intel clean room. You don't have to worry about dust that way. The only issue I have is that the screen protector is off by 0.002 mm and while you can't tell with the naked eye I had a buddy at Lawrence-Livermore do a laser refraction measurement and I now know it isn't right.

I had mine installed at the Apple Store. Perfect. If you're not happy, they will do it again. Not a single dust or speck on the first try. I would do it again.

You asked this question 48 mins ago in the Belkin Invisiglass Apple thread in the accessories forum. You really shouldn't make multiple posts about the same questions in different forums. People are good about helping each other here. You just need to be patient.

0.002 mm-wow, and I thought I was picky :)

Still, I know what you mean. It makes installing these screen protectors rather stressful.

I guess that people who are so keen on using screenprotectors on their ($1k) smartphones to prevent scratches, are the same people who are using some sort of 360 Degrees bumpers all around their cars?
Cause most cars are much, much more expensive then just a smartphone and with a car you are dealing with external traffic factors (other drivers) where you do not have ANY influence on.
We don't want any scratches (including the doors) on our cars, right? :p

They will do it again if your not happy.

But from what I've noticed, and I've been getting the glass put on my phone since Apple started selling them, the employees are getting lazy! They don't want to go through the whole process which is so Friggin easy.

Clean the screen good of smudges, use the tape to get any dust specks off, hold to the light to make sure nothing is on the surface, and just drop in the machine and press down!

I've been seeing a lot of employees bypassing the tape and that's where dust gets in there.

Have mine on with no problems. The Apple rep put the tape on it first. I would say it’s a perfect install. Didn’t think I would like the light matte of the anti glare but I like it.

Interesting the anti glare got bad reviews in the Apple Store. But I think people put their reviews on the wrong product. The reviews said it breaks and cracks. This protector is a film and can’t crack.

This. It should be perfect (especially considering the cost). If it's not, I'm sure Apple will fix it.

I had a screen protector installed by a friend did a great job only thing just spotted two small dust particles behind the screen protector, can only see them when your very close to the screen.. When I see them my OCD goes in but I’m trying not to mess with it by using the tape method have done so before and had success but also failure.... I do want to go to apple store so they can install one. But my ocd is like rushing me, apple store is 2 hours from my city and I don’t know where else they install those belkin with those machines I do have a couple att stores don’t know if they do them there?

Do any of you live with specs behind your screen protector?

I couldn’t live with specs behind my screen protector. I feel your pain.
