ordered mine through Staples today (few hours ago) and it says delivery tomorrow...lets hope :)

you think that they will add the LTE version to this sale or we will eventually see it for $849? I'm on the fence, but if they put the LTE one on sale for $150 off then I would be all in.

Thanks to the posters who noted the lower price at Staples. I had just purchased the 128 GB WIFI iPad Pro 12.9 yesterday from BestBuy.com for $849.99 and picked it up at a local store. After verifying the Staples price ($799) for the exact same model, I called Best Buy at the number listed for price matching on their website and they issued me a $50 credit back to the card I used to make the purchase.

The $799 price at Staples is good until March 26.

Thanks a lot, I just bought an iPad Pro 12.9 earlier today. I was going to get the 9.7, but with the price drop and my impatience I couldn't resist. It is a bit to get used to, but I bet in a few days my iPad 4 will seem tiny.

I just ordered the 12.9" 128GB Silver from Best Buy for store pick up tomorrow. When I get there I will price match to staples...It will be fun to try it out since I get 45 days to return because of elite plus status at Best Buy. It will hold me over until the 9.7" arrives. I plan to test them both out at the same time.

Thanks for the heads-up on the Staples sale. I ordered a 12.9-inch Space Grey 128GB Wi-Fi iPad Pro at Best Buy for $773. It's an open-box rated in excellent condition. I figure it's worth the extra $23 over the 9.7-inch if there are no dings or scratches and I'm good with the bigger size.
I'm curious to know if I'll like it more than my current 64GB Cellular iPad Air.

I'm just going to go ahead and get the 12.9 tomorrow at Best Buy. Ask them to price match Stapples' price. Going to play with it for a few days and see if I like it. If not, I'll exchange for the smaller pro.

If you're willing to go open-box, it's as low as $630 for the base 12.9" iPad Pro at Best Buy

So staples has a return policy like that? I'd double check

I actually did this the other day. Description "Excellent Condition, no damage". Got it delivered yesterday and had 4 big gouges in the frame! Heck no, I marched down to my local BB and the lady exchanged out for a brand new one at the $630 price. I am very happy now - love getting a good deal on something. My iPad Air looks so small now!

What I meant was, I'm going to price match Staples price at Best Buy. And since I'm a elite member, I have 45 days to return it. By the way, has anyone tried price matching, and did it work?

Went to BB yesterday and picked up an open box 128GB Wifi + LTE for $733. It was originally $832, but they added the extra $100 off due to the sale.

Not sure if I'll keep it though, this thing is really, really big.

$733 is an awesome deal! Even more so when you consider what a new 9.7-inch will cost. There is no denying it's big, but it's difficult to go back to a smaller screen after using it for a while. I held an Air 2 today and can't imagine going back. It's more convenient to hold, but the screen real estate has spoiled me.

Yes the price match works at BB. I just did it today using the staples ad. I got the 12.9" 128 GB for $799. I am elite plus also and taking advantage of the 45 day return policy to try it our before my 9.7" arrives.

Fortunately my open-box iPad Pro, keyboard, and pencil were all in mint condition. Then I accidentally dropped by iPhone 6s Plus on the iPad Pro's edge while holding it up just slightly from the table and there's a tiny minuscule dent in the metal! The iPhone was fine but I had no idea iPad Pros were this fragile.

Even cheaper, I got it for $550 the other day at BB and it was an open box in mint condition.

Screw the new one, not worth it. :)
I've been looking for an in-store open-box forever. Never could find any.

There is an excellent-certified one at my local store. It's black and I'd prefer white but I'm debating grabbing it to give it a try.

Anyone who went from the 9.7 to the 12.9 for non-professional purposes care to share how they feel about the difference in size?

Was is listed at $550 or did they discount it because of the current sale? I'd be even more tempted at $550.

I bought one last night at Best Buy and used price match with Staples $799 sale. Really worth it seeing that its only $50 more than the 7.9 iPP -- I don't need an upgraded camera and I'm not so sure I'd notice the difference in the new display. The extra screen real estate is great for mutlitasking. I can surf or read and one side and take notes with the Apple pencil on the other side. If anyone is in US and considering a new iPad you should seriously consider this sale.

I picked up an excellent-certified at Best Buy for $772 yesterday. I checked the serial number on Apple's support page and it was originally purchased Feb 27th. Geek Squad did a full inspection and updated it to iOS 9.3. It is Space Grey and that's the only color I'll consider because I don't want a white bezel on the front.
I'm still getting used to the size. I think it'll be like going from an iPhone 5 to a 6 Plus where it's awkward at first and then becomes normal soon. The extra screen size is nice for reading and great for videos. You can tell when some apps, mostly games, aren't updated for the extra resolution because they look a little fuzzy. There is zero lag or slowdown. The speakers are very loud. I probably won't use that much since I usually have headphones. Now I'm trying to find a sleeve that'll fit in my shoulder bag and debating if I want to spend $60 on the over-priced Smart Cover like I had on my iPad Air 1.
The combination of the bigger screen and doubling the storage space makes the new iPad Pro feel REALLY big inside and out.

Not sure, that was the sticker on the open box. I was kind of surprised to tell the truth and nothing is wrong with it since I have been using it so I am a happy camper.
