Best Buy - Order Online NOW! Instore Pickup Avalible!

Lots of pickup on 9/20 for me, space grey. no such luck for silver or gold. But buying it full price is $50 more than the apple store. No thanks, not that desperate.
 
Worked for me. Ordered a 32gb AT&T Space Gray. There was no $50 add-on. This was for a pick-up at the Downey store here in SoCal.

I am almost certain they will price match it when you get to the store to pick up. If not, you can always have them just refund you on the spot. If they have the model you are looking for, this doesn't seem like a bad way to go at all.

Just reading articles of how Best Buy couldn't full-fill preorders for iPhone 5, and people had to wait up to 28-days to get it.

Clearly it's not a guarantee they'll have it. Not sure it's worth the risk and potentially messing up your upgrade.
 
Are all the models across all stores the same?
I remember back when the 4S was launched it was only the apple ones that could be truly unlocked, even if they were originally with a carrier. Is it the same this time too, or are they all the same phone now?
 
My only problem is this. If I order it, it may mark my upgrade as not being eligible.

I know for a fact Best Buy's inventory isn't real time. It's possible that I order it, and I find out tomorrow they didn't have enough to fulfill my order.

That and it might botch my upgrade and make my waiting in line at Apple pointless.

This isn't a pre order. This is based on stores that have stock of certain models.

The real question is -- is the stock being updated dynamically at the time of the order or will it show "Available for pick up" all night until a BB person arrives in the AM and starts processing the orders.
 
I placed my order as well...was able to get what I wanted. I wonder how this will play out if people are actually lined up / camped out for them?
 
I had a $50 giftcard promotion from BB early this year to upgrade my phone thru them that I can apply right away, so I ordered one for pickup tomorrow thru BB,

Wasn;t planning on waiting in line or really hunt for one from the get-go, So I guess if they cant fulfill it, I'll at least be in queue to get one in the coming weeks

Yeah I just started a fake new order for the exact same phone and the same store is showing availability. Not promising.
 
We have 64GB Gold for pick up tomorrow in the closest store next to us (like 5 minutes away.) I wanted the 32GB... :( 64gb is just too expensive imo.
 
Unlocked iPhone 5s

if I pre order for the unsubsidized Verizon iPhone 5s, is this considered unlock and will I be able to use it to other carrier like Straightalk?
 
I just woke up, and planned to order through verizon until I saw this! Great find OP! Thanks! I just ordered a 16gb Space Grey, confirmed pick up was for today and it worked seamlessly! (I haven't gotten the confirmation email yet though...)

btw I'm in San Diego, and they had no Silver in any stores, and only 2 stores within 150 miles had black.
 
Ordered a 64gb grey AT&T for pickup. Received the confirmation email of my order, but it said since the item is a preorder, to to wait for one more email before I actually head to the store to pick up...

Crossing my fingers this actually works
 
I was thinking maybe the availability of the phones will update at 3 am so you'll be able to see what stores have it available at that time
 
Called Best Buy and the representative said if it says available then it's guaranteed.

Not sure how much you can trust the representative though. haha.

Well, most models are unavailable around where I live. Only a couple (space grey) are available and only at certain stores and certain sizes. If it wasn't updating, I'd imagine they'd all be available.
 
This is interesting ... I wonder what this means for people who may be camping outside of Best Buys. The iPhones that we're ordering are already at the best buys. I'm guessing they're holding a certain amount of iPhones for Online in store pickup. Seems sort of unfair for the campers.
