This post is hilarious.

Apple has stolen so much and you people have the NERVE to bash Samsung for doing it even though they do it less than apple?

Samsung isn't copying anything. Best Buy is doing this. You have the NERVE to not read?

Even though this was aimed at me, I have to say this is the most awesome post I've seen in this forum.

Thanks. And I'm glad you took it in the manner I was posting - which was tongue-in-cheek.

Job at this store within a store SAMSUNG

If you are out of work, Mosiac is hiring now for these jobs at $13 an hour, higher in N.E. states and CA. You work 8 hours on Sunday, about 6 on Saturday and one night a week.
You are there to push their smart phone, tablet and Laptop.
Personally I have had trouble with the Sam cell I bought my ML 1665 Laser Printer I bought but its money.
Go to their website and apply.

There's a new Samsung and MS store in the mall near where I live and they look like carbon copies of the Apple store that's been there for years with the exception of about 75% less visible employees.

Your logic is a classic example of the Tu Quoque fallacy.

No, it's not an example of that because I wasn't using the notification center example to draw parallels to Samsung. I was merely asking you: do you think Apple copied Google based on your logic?

Apple has long had a partnership with Best Buy for dedicated "Apple Shop" sections in many of the electronics retailer's stores, but a new report from Geek.com indicates that those Apple Shops will soon be joined by similar Samsung shops, with the upcoming Galaxy S4 launch serving as the impetus for the first round of store rollouts. The report indicates that the Galaxy S4 will be the featured attraction of these shops, although Samsung's full line of smartphones and tablets will be on display.

Apple and Samsung have of course become bitter rivals in the mobile device market, with Samsung rapidly establishing itself as the dominant manufacturer of Android-based devices and surpassing Apple in a number of metrics related to the smartphone market. Samsung has been tackling Apple head-on with its advertising, increasing its spending and sparking concerns that Apple needs to step up its game.

With the addition of high-profile shops inside Best Buy stores, Samsung has no doubt been able to leverage its recent successes in hopes of continuing that momentum for the Galaxy S4 and its other smartphone and tablet devices.

Cheap Asian counterfeit.

Nice (inaccurate) contribution there, you changed the minds of millions of happy Samsung customers.

Oh and it's just as valid as someone saying "Overpriced American Hype" - both statements are based on mind numbingly low logic.

You mean Android's variant of iOS notifications? Pretty sure notifications were there from iPhone's launch, they just became more robust over time. Shock!

Where exactly was Android at the iPhone launch? Somewhere between vaporware and Symbian rip-off.

SONY has had stores inside a store for over 20 years now - not sure how this is an Apple idea now

Do you need the name/number of a therapist? Really? It makes you "sick"

Might be time to go grab some fresh air....

LOLWUT? You mean psychiatrist so he/she can prescribe me something for the nausea and the double vision when I walk into a Best Buy.

And you'd be wrong I'm pretty sure...

The Apple Push Notification Service was launched with iOS 3.0 on June 17, 2009

But what this has to do with BEST BUY deciding to create a Samsung in store area is foreign to me.

I think you should check your facts buddy. Well I guess if you mean super annoying pop ups that are constantly getting in your way you still wouldn't be correct.

You are buying Samsung stuff. Samsung chips, screens, etc. are used by Apple. Buying Apple devices means you are supporting Samsung since they get money from Apple. What's so hard to understand about that? No matter what, you are buying from Samsung and supporting them, directly or indirectly.

Yes, I get that, but I'll never buy any direct Samsung items. No TVs. No camera. No refrigerators. Nothing.
I realize they'll still get money from components, but there's not much I can do about that.

Good lord how naive. The iPhone didn't get notification center, you know the thing you replied about, till 2011 in iOS 5.

Pop-up notifications have nothing to do with this and had existed on phones, PDAs, and computers for years before the iPhone came out. I had a Palm OS based Samsung smartphone back in 2002 that had them. Not that pop-up notifications are anything to brag about.
