People actually shop at Worst Buy?
Why?

I don't particularly like Best Buy either. As a 'smart consumer' - I dislike the employees, who all think they know more than you, but don't. Their recommendations are horrible.

But those who don't know anything about tech, where else would you go to shop to get information? This is where Best Buy wins. It's for the grandmother who wants to get a laptop, but no clue what to get. Today, all she can choose from is the Apple Store and Best Buy. There are no other retailers out there. Target and Walmart sell some things, but you need to do your research first, their employees won't help.

But there are reasons people like me shop there - price. I wait for sales, and find products that are at or cheaper than the Amazon price (they'll match the Amazon price and you get what you want right away), or when I need something quickly, like a last-minute birthday or Christmas gift. Or to actually touch and feel something like a Samsung watch.

But normally, I wouldn't shop there.

They do sometimes have nice sale items - plus an okay rewards program if you use their in store card. Also, Gamers Club Unlocked which was $30 for 2 years of video games 20% off plus other perks.

Best Buy is just down the block from me. They stand behind their sales and have a decent return policy. Over the Labor Day weekend they had a great sale and I bought a 21" iMac, a Macbook pro retina, a pair of Sony headphones, a waterproof Fuji camera and some other items and saved about $500. They also have a decent rewards program. I love Amazon but it's nice to have the convenience of Best Buy when I want to look, kick the tires and drive home with the product.

I'm excited to start using Apple Pay once I receive my 6s Plus! But when Google decide to rename Google Wallet to Android Pay?

Android Pay, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay... Wow, looks like Apple started another trend...

Amazon charges tax in Florida
Best Buy matches Amazon prices.
Why shop in Amazon for things that are available at Best Buy, when there is a Best Buy 3 minute drive from my work!

Agreed, and frankly for certain produce their price isn't always the worst.

Will it work with the best buy store card though? ;)

When will ApplePay be coming to Canada? When it was announced to begin last year, they didn't say "except Canada". When it was finally launched they said "Canada in early 2015".... We have come through an entire year and it seems the only country they forget to mention is Canada. I got my iPhone 6 because of Apple Pay. I have now upgraded to iPhone 6S... (ordered)... and I still se nothing about Canada for Apple Pay. I must be the single promoter of Apple pay here in GTA... and now every time I enter any retail store I shop in.. they ask me..so "when are we getting Apple Pay?"

Let's get 'er done!

Really?

While there are certain products I wouldn't buy there, there are many products at competitive prices that are fine to purchase there. Their return policy is good. Why would you make such a statement? That kind of absurd statement from anyone doesn't speak of maturity. It's like someone I know who says he will never step into a Bed Bath and Beyond store because everything there is from China. So is my iPhone.

They have iTunes gift cards on sale fairly often. If I can get a $100 iTunes card for $85, I don't care where it's from. But other than that, I don't really shop at Best Buy since switching over to digital for movies, tv shows, and music.

Oh my goodness! I can't believe how much people actually care about Android/Apple/NFC Pay. Are you really that lazy that you can't slap a few bills down or grab your wallet from your back pocket or purse. It also begs the question, are you sooo attached to your stupid cell phone that you have to incorporate it into every part of your life? ITS A CELL PHONE!!!
People need to go watch Wall-E and look at how fat/lazy people are in that movie because that's the society we are moving towards.
Just remember, if power/networks go out and you can't buy anything, I will still be fine because I have cold hard CASH!

I believe there are some medications that could help you. Have a nice day.
