Never bought a phone through Best Buy....I would be willing to put it off if they take my Reward Zone gift certificates for the iPhone. I have a few saved up that have to get used soon.
I totally agree, but when all I have seen is Verizon conjecture, rumour and news plastered over the front page of the the site for weeks, it does get a bit tiresome and hard to avoid.....
Do I really need to give you the play by play of what happened in this one page thread?
A couple of people were stating that this was a Verizon rumor, when it's not a rumor. It's news. I'm not saying anything about what kind of content MacRumors posts, I'm simply pointing out that this isn't a rumor.

I swear I'll shoot myself in the head...
if I see more consecutive Verizon/iOS/iPhone/iPad news stories.

Another Verizon rumor. Yahooo!!! Wait a minute where's Walmart or Radio Shack?
They accept them for phones. Used some myself to get the 4.
Funny how just recently Best Buy had issued an internal memo to employees about how to promote the benefits of the AT&T iPhone, while pointing out the shortfalls of the Verizon version.
iPhones should only be sold at the Apple stores.
I'm sure it is frustrating to someone who isn't going to be affected by the news. (I am a Verizon customer, so I love reading up about my soon-to-be iPhone). But let's be honest. This site reports on what is in Apple's spotlight at the moment. And right now, that is first and foremost iOS and iOS device related. More specifically, it's the Verizon iPhone this month. As much as numerous members here would never admit it, Apple is no longer focused primarily on Mac.
Because they are not "pure" I guess? Why? There's only about 240 of them in the US, where there are around 1,100 BestBuy stores. And supposedly about 2,200 Verizon stores. A lot of people out there that are not convenient to the first, but are to the latter two.
