confirmed:
incase slider scratches the back of your ipod. I had a back film from my powersupport anti glare on the back and while the back was protected (from a long line scratch after i put on the case) the sides of the ipod...sad to say looked like it was scrubbed with steel wool. This is a pristine new ipod touch I am talking about.
Very unfortunate. I will be buffing out the scratches before my seidio inno.case comes in. I am looking forward to trying out that one because of the rubberized outer coating and felt inner lining.
Edit: I should say...i was extremely careful. I take really good care of all my stuff..makes me kind of sad, that now my ipod is less than pristine. Oh well. Despite this, the slider is a nice case because it is snug, but it attracts fingerprints like no other! However it looks very slick and sexy if that is the look you are going for.
The powersupport film is very very nice! I was a little wary, because in my experience, the best films and screen protectors are always 3rd party and not available at the apple store. however, this film had easy application, and re application if you didn't do it right the first time. Easy to spot dust and remove bubbles as well. The film fits perfectly within the slider, and does not lift or touch the sides of the slider at all, if anyone is wondering. It is a matter of alignment.
For those wondering. I really doubt that the IS will fit inside a slider.
