^^How about this question: why buy the incase slider when it scratches your ipod?

I guess you didn't read my post about it scratching your ipod touch.. PS. It's 34.95 w/o tax.

My iPod Touch currently has an invisible shield on it, and I carry it around in no case, with no problems. I'm just afraid of the inevitable dropping of it. Im looking for a case that will surround everything but the front. I want a product that will protect my iPod if I drop it, but is also stylish and makes the iPod look good. I was originally going to get on of those rubber ones. But I hear this incase slider is pretty good, it just seems like it would look odd.

So what case would you recommend? Something very functional and stylish

I use the Contour Showcase and the Power Support Crystal Film Set, and I have been very satisfied with both. They protect the touch really well and don't detract from its good looks.

Speck case found for 6.99 at TJMaxx

Just a heads up to anyone that has a TJMaxx retail store near by. I happened across Speck iPod touch hardshell and silicon cases at one in NH. The "smoked" (slightly tinted) one was only 6.99 so I picked one up. Seems like a pretty good case for the price. At the store I went to they had a bunch of white silicon cases for about the same (no other colors) and the hardshell case in smoked and pink.

Not sure if these are stocked is nationwide or not but I figured it's worth mentioning.

The case feels really thin at first compared to a griffin I looked at which was clearly much thicker. Once on it fits nice a snug and looks like it'll provide decent scratch protection, however I'm not sure about drop protection. I'm definately not going to test that :) I do like how the case is very thin as it doesn't add much thickness as other cases I've seen. Definately a good buy for the price!!

Hello I'm just wondering if anybody knows of an alternative to the Incase Slider. I'm looking for something that has a similar design such as flush with the front screen. I'm looking for UK only

Thanks, Turbunator92

I bought a two pack (black and white/clear) from radio shack for only $5!!!!! Silicon sleeve style that fits very snug... Nice and thin. Not too rubbery or sticky. Simple design, no unneeded designs ridges lines or anything. It really helps maintain the sleekness and clean design of the iPod touch. The ONLY gripe is thAt there isn't a hole for the light sensor.

I also picked up a two pack of screen protectors for $10. These are the best screen protectors I have ever seen. They are rigid and practically suction cupped to the screen without any air bubbles. It is perfectly smooth, looks like glass and feels perfect

This is not the first time radio shack has come through... We found an awesome case for my girlfriends iPod video there too.

One thing to concider about these covers is that they end up scratching it up just as bad as dirt eventually and inevitably gets trapped between the cover and whatever it is covering. One day you will pull it out after a few months and see the wear, trust me. I chose to simply apply a mach carbon fiber decal used for dirt bike numberplate backgrounds on the back as I noticed that it was getting quite scratched up.

SOLUTION... i put a clear protector sticker on the front and back and even sides of all my ipods BEFORE putting it in a case.

did anyone else get bored of using a hard case? i was using one but have no reverted to just using invisibleshield and an ipod sock
works perfectly and havent have a scratch yet *touch wood*

I love Invisible shield, unbelievably good. A bit of work to get on and make look good but excellent protection. I have used these on my 5.5 gen video ipod, 3rd gen nano, and my touch.

Power Support anti glare is nice too, gives great tactile feedback with the touch screen.

I really like Power Support's cases too. iPod Touch Air Jacket --- they are extremely thin, come with two screen protectors- anit glare and crystal, and look great on the touch.

Another vote for the Griffin Reflect. Feels solid, keeps the iPod safe, and makes the touch slightly more bulky - I prefer the devices I carry around with me to be chunky rather than sleek, so that's a plus for me. Only problem was that it's difficult to get off - you have to use a coin to prise the two parts open.

That was easily solved with a nail file, though. ;)

im thinking of getting the incase slider but im not sure which colour to get either black or white if anyone has any pictures of the colour cases i would be grateful.

I like the Agent18 clear case. Protects the iPod from falls and doesn't hide the design of the iPod. Will probably get it once they release the new IPT! :)

I agree! I am very bored of my Griffin iClear case. And am soon going to get a invisible shield, maybe with an iPod sock like you but ... I don't know I'll just look around for something similar.

Anyone have experience with the Griffin iClear?

Great protection and comes with a screen protector ... but is a little bit bulky.
For me it is perfect for when I go places; just in case I drop it... but around my house ... I let it go commando.

Can't wait for my invisible shield. :)

P.S. Sry for making 2 posts... I didn't read all of the others before mine.
