Would you say the Caudabe has more protection from drops? Does it have any lip protection?
Yes the Caudabe has more protection with a very slight front lip that protects screen when Face down.

For the Caudabe Lucid Clear, is that a hard shell case or is it flexible? And does it provide any grip or is it slick?
Hard and a bit slicker than a Spigen or Ringke. But fabulous!

Looks lovely now.
Wont in a few months when it yellows.
Otherwise they are great cases.

Yellow won’t be as obvious because of gold.

Anyway I will be getting my Slickwrap skins soon and the k11 bumper which I will use after the new phone excitement ends.

I just got my Caudabe Lucid Clear for the XS Max today. I can't put my finger on it exactly, but it feels more solid than the X one I had. It also fits more snugly which is good. A little bit of a challenge taking it off, but I prefer the tighter fit. Beautiful case. I'll still probably end up going with the Sheath instead, but I can't deny that the phone looks really stunning with the Lucid Clear.

If you want a minimalist clear case, go with the Peel clear case. It's not as clear compare to Totallee but it's the same thinnest as their regular super thin case. The volume/mute buttons, power button, and camera are not covered but the case is just slightly higher so it doesn't scratch it. I dropped my iPhone X multiple time on a tile and hard floor but not a single scratch.

I'm using the ESR glass-back case. Gives you the feel of the glass on the back of the phone and TPU protection around the bumper. Just using this till I get my sleeve but I'm actually a fan of it thus far.

I got that thinking it was a separate bumper and glass back like a screen protector only to find when I got it that it was an actual case. I’m currently using the regular ESR clear case with the micro dots like the one I had for my X.

However I’m not keen on bit covering the main on/off button as it’s a bit stiff. I might give this one a go to see if it’s better. I also have the TOZO and Spigen liquid crystal clear cases. I’m going to try them all and see which one I prefer or might get something else.

I've also got the regular ESR clear case on order just to try out as it's a slimmer profile.

I don't find that the buttons on the glass-back ESR case are stiff but I guess it depends on everyone's threshold. I don't find myself trying to press them hard at all.

I had the lucid clear for my X. Loved the case! It was super thin and didn’t even feel like I had a case on. One drop actually saved my phone but the case broke on the side. I contacted the company and they immediately sent a new one. Even though it saved the phone that time, I went for a thicker clear case for added protection and piece of mind. As much as I liked the lucid clear, I have little confidence for drop protection. Wish I had the confidence to rock the lucid on the xsm.

I've got the Lucid Clear for my XSM and love it. Looks fantastic. Not too worried about drops, but I've also had great experience getting replacements from Caudabe in the past when the case has been damaged. Pretty happy with this case for now.

Would you say this has any sort of grip or is it pure glossy?

MCube74 Looks great. I have the liquid crystal version of the Spigen case in clear and am very happy with it (so far). I'm thinking of skipping the screen protector since the good ones are more money than a replacement under Applecare plus. And I've never had a damaged screen.

I was just gonna recommend ESR cases! I haven’t tried the glass back one, is it slippery at all? Do you put it on like a regular phone case, or is it adhesive?

I use the clear TPU cases. I love how thin they are, they’re thinner than the Spigen ones and super grippy! I had the one with the Silver borders for my X Silver, it made the phone look even more stunning! I never thought a $12 case could look or feel this good! This time I got the regular clear case, I barely know it’s there and it doesn’t make my XS Max wider like most cases do. I like this company a lot, glad to see other people do, too :)

hi guys, I'm tired of hiding away my iPhone in a case, and since I've gotten my hands on the new XS gold option is really like to try it on with a clear case...

Since apple doesn't sell any "approved" clear cases - yes I've seen the otterbox traction, but not to fond of the colour options (in the frame)....I could really use a good piece of advice...will any cheap amazon clear case do? A lot of them look identical in my little research study...

I'm looking for a clear case, preferably without the micro dotting tech, slim and lightweight...any suggestions?

In the end I'll probably use the PitakaMag case Ive used on earlier models...but wouldn't it be nice to try a clear case that works :)

I ordered the pitaka promag for magnetic mount and protection. I love that brand. It would be great if it could be clear and manetic

The back is slightly more slippery than the TPU version but retains the original feel of the phone while adding a tiny bit more bulk compared to the tpu. Snaps right in, stiffer than the tpu. No adhesive.

I ordered the tpu version and it came with a dark fleck embedded. They sent me a new one right away. Great customer service.

ESR is really good quality for the price. I love my iPad fabric case by them too.

I have a “clear” case. It’s the Karat Petals by Casemate. Clear with silver flakes and flowers. I love it. Adds a feminine touch and I can still see the silver and back of the phone.
