Does the Bare case ship from US? How long did it take? I love the Lucid Clear, but this one is just as good but less slippery??

They ship to US but based in Singapore I think. Took almost 3 weeks with DHL but they have an express shipping option too.

Again comparing lucid clear from IPhone X I had last year to this, this case is definitely less slippery.

I just love my Otterbox Symmetry clear case - It's got a good lip to protect the screen if you drop it face down, and to protect the camera as well, and isn't too thick, and is decently grippy on the sides.

The front edge lip is enough to prevent the Belkin glass screen protector from contacting the ground as well - maybe a 1mm lip and the glass screen protecter takes up about half of that gap. I have in fact dropped the phone a few times (garage smooth concrete floor, kitchen wood floor, bathroom tile floor), and the case is not even showing damage. The back half seems to be hard plastic and the front half seems to be a more flexible clear plastic, with the two halves fused together into one piece.

My one complaint would be that the clear hard shell back is more slippery than the one on my iPhone X Under Armor clear case, so on a slick surface it can slide, or move when it vibrates. But I've been using the case since day one (preordered to get before the Xs Max), and still feel no need to take it off.

I got the tech 21 pure clear it's a nice clear case.

I have used tech 21 cases since the iPhone 6+, including another on my 6s+, 7+ and X, but I didn't get one yet for my Xs Max. Usually I ended up with grey ones, but my wife has a lavender tech 21 with a clear wavy back and she keeps pictures of island beaches between her iPhone 7 and the inside of the case.

I could only get the Otterbox Symmetry (and a couple of cheap Amazon cases) delivered before the Xs Max was to arrive. Buying the Xs Max was a last minute decision and I only had a week to get my case and screen protector (bought Xs Max only so I could donate my 7+ to my brother). My tech 21 didn't arrive until 10 days later and I've considered switching to it, since the case back is more grippy, but want to save it as a spare until I break my Otterbox.

The tech 21 have been very good to me - in 2014 my 6+ survived a horrific car accident in the tech 21 after another car going 70mph hit us head-on while we were going 30mph the other direction (cold and icy). The 6+ was on the dashboard of my daughter's Subaru.

My phone didn't have a mark, although my case had some burn marks from the airbag, although we both broke both of our legs and spent months in wheelchairs. My iPad was crushed and unusable (had been on my lap as front seat passenger), and both of our MacBooks that were in backpacks in the backseat were bent like satellite dishes but still worked.

BestBuy was nice enough to replace my burned Tech 21 case for free, while well out of warranty (poor pitiful me looks while sitting in a wheelchair got it done). Otherwise the other guy's insurance would have paid eventually. These photos were taken with my 6+ after the accident and in the ambulance ride from Goodland Kansas to Denver, and it still worked fine.

I hope all is well with you and your family. Wow!

I just got my Caudabe Lucid Clear for the XS Max today. I can't put my finger on it exactly, but it feels more solid than the X one I had. It also fits more snugly which is good. A little bit of a challenge taking it off, but I prefer the tighter fit. Beautiful case. I'll still probably end up going with the Sheath instead, but I can't deny that the phone looks really stunning with the Lucid Clear.

I've got the Lucid Clear for my XSM and love it. Looks fantastic. Not too worried about drops, but I've also had great experience getting replacements from Caudabe in the past when the case has been damaged. Pretty happy with this case for now.

+1 for Caudabe Lucid Clear for the XS Max. Loved it for my X.

I don't really find Lucid Clear slippery at all. It's not going to be as grippy as like an Otterbox or something, but it's a clear case. Soft cases will also get yellow over time, at least in my experience. Pretty happy with Lucid Clear.

Can one of you guys please post pics of the XS Max inside the lucid clear case?

Have they fixed the incorrect number of cutouts on the bottom left speaker grill?

I think this thread needs to come back. I'd love to hear from people how their clear cases are holding up after a few months use.
