Thank you, didn't know those specs came so cheap but this alienware is not available in NZ plus I want to build my own tower so is the cooler master haf series a good choice option?

Will it not perform?

That looks good and all but I want this to be DIY build I will consider this though.
I have heard some people that had bad experiences with them so I will be a bit cautious around those.

Like I said, look at my signature...
Bunch of tips for you:
-you don't need a gaming case, gaming mouse/keyboard, gaming ram. Gaming is a codeword for rip-off.
-don't spend over $150 on a case.
-you don't need an i7, get an i5 and spend the savings on an SSD or a better GPU.
-buy from PBTech.co.nz
-if you're overclocking, make sure you spend enough on cooling.
Just asking how much did that cost ...like all parts and extra and OS.

OK thanks but to save extra money should I get a hybrid SSD and is liquid cooling really worth the price compared to fan cooling?,Should I get quad core i5 sandy bridge processor and playing games like CODis dual graphics in crossfire better
Yes a nice 30'' apple cinema display that used to complement my 2009 mac proI wouldn't recommend a hybrid, just out of preference. If something breaks, as least you'll have a separate drive to use.
Liquid cooling is pretty good, but it's also quiet. It's really your call as to what you use.
An i5 is fine for most games, but if you have enough money you might as well upgrade it to an i7. A great graphics card will always be better than 2 good ones, so rather get the best one you can afford and get a second one later if you really need it.
BTW, do you have a monitor and keyboard/mouse yet?

and good keyboard etc.So should I get quad core i7 sandy bridge and a GTX or should I get an ATI raedon.
OK here are the specs for this rig:
Quad core i7 sandy bridge-$315.00 got it here-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115070
Corsair vengence 16GB DDR3 here:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145347
Don't know if this motherboard is compatible-GigaByte G1.sniper motherboard-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128471
Normally, I'd say Sound Cards are not needed as much (unless you are a audiophile) because motherboards pack decent integrated sound modules now. However, it's up to you. I for one added a Sound Card to mine since I have external speakers to go with it.
yeah I have external speakers so what card do you recommend?
1. Why do you need 16GB of RAM, this one point I will insist you don't waste money on. If you want crazy RAM amounts, go with 12GB in triple channel or 8GB in dual channel.
2. That motherboard and CPU are not compatible.

4. Hybrid HDDs offer little to no real world gains.
the 16 gig is for servers that I run 16 gig is something preferred and needed but perhaps 12 gig will do.also what mother board is compatible with that cpu because I insist on keeping that cpu.and finally basically you are saying that a 2TB HDD spinning at 7200rpm would be a better choice because this is my first build(yes I know about working in a static free environment I have recently purchased a static wrist band)

You really don't need one. Any high end mobo will have excellent onboard sound. As jav6454 said, your RAM is wildly unnecessary. Even 12 is more than most professionals need. It's not going to do anything useful.
The motherboard depends on what type of Bridge you are looking for. For that CPU we have H, Z, Q and P bridges. But the motherboard has to be LGA 1155, the one you gave is an LGA 1366 with X58 Bridge.
what about the ASUS P8P67 PRO mother board I think it is 1155![]()
Game Server with 50-60 people... Hmmmm I don't know game server capacities, so I can't really give you advice there.
But if this computer is to be used mainly for gaming on it, then stick to 12GB (triple) or 8GB (dual) at most.
I'll get 12gig RAM just to be safe side cause on my 4 gig MBP the server crashes with 2.5 GB dedicated to it and the page outs are just tremendous e.g3.5GB![]()
