Best iPhone 5S screen protector

Probably gonna go with tech armor or the cheap spigen ones. Honestly I've never been able to tell the difference between an expensive one and cheap one and as long as you have a case on you shouldn't be focusing on smash protection from a screen protector...

I've been using tech armor for along time. I recommend them. You get unlimited replacements too. I got about 4 extra packs of 3 using the replacement warranty.
They also have the quickest and best tech support IMO. They reply within 2-4 hours when I use them for replacements most of the time.
Ask me if you have any questions.

I like the the Belkin ones they sell at the Apple store...

They seem to provide anti glare but with less cost to clarity than PS or Spigen.

Check out Tech Armor or Spigen SPG on Amazon (under $10 for sets of 2-3 films). Both have lifetime replacements.

I bought the Spigen Crystal at Amazon.com for $6.95 couple of days ago. It comes with 3 front films and 1 back film. Don't get this confused with Spigen Ultra Crystal, which cost more. Per Spigen's facebook, the Crystal is exclusive configuration for Amazon customers. It's a little thinner than Ultra Crystal but the same clarity and quality...you get more for your bucks plus Lifetime Replacement (only for Amazon customers).

Tech Armor iPhone 5S / iPhone 5C / iPhone 5 Premium High Definition (HD) Clear Screen Protector [3-Pack] - Retail Packaging

Best ones IMO plus unlisted replacements. Can't beat it. Some other companies do the same thing.

Just ordered a pack of those along with a pack of the matte ones. Thanks for the recommendation!

Make to post how you like it. I was on the fence between the TechArmor and Spigen. I went with Spigen because the film is made in Japan (Power Support's film is made also in Japan) and more iPhone 5s owners are writing great reviews on it recently on Amazon.

i'l swear by power support. have one on my iphone 4 for 2.5 yrs now, and the crystal version (front/back) for my 5s is perfect.

If you're in the US and looking for good retail off the shelf alternatives try the Belkin 3-pack TruClear screen guards at Target for $11.99 USD (in the white packaging with green trim). These are surprisingly good in terms of fit and clarity, very comparable to the Spigen Ultra Crystal.

The Apple Store also sells (at least locally) the Belkin Iris Anti-Glare 2-pack for $14.99 USD (White packaging with black trim and says "Customized for your Retina display"). For an anti-glare screen protector this film is very optically clear. I would say about 95% clarity of ultra-crystal, while maintaining the anti-glare and anti-fingerprint properties of traditional anti-glare. I am pleasantly surprised at how good this one is.

You will like these a lot. I'm not guaranteeing. I like them better then spigen because the screen protector is easier to install IMO and these have the lifetime replacement warranty. I email them only asking for replacements with no reason. I give them the order #, they ask to confirm the address and they ship it out ASAP.

I second this. I got the crystal front one from Japan and have transferred it around a few times and it still looks great after 8 months. Ill prob order another set of 2 to keep on hand. looks like power support usa has them now but they are back ordered. The anti glare are nice and easier to keep clean but degrades the retinal resolution.

Try media devil I've been using them since my iPhone 4.
Best I've used (and I've tried a lot)

Element Case screen protector

Anyone have any experiences with the Element Case screen protector and the other glass-based screen protectors. I like the Element Case ones because they are thin, easy to install, and dont add bulk. '

I have used Spigen glass protectors, but I dont like how the coating wears off and only shows fingerprints and the added bulk. I have used Zagg, but they are a little precarious to install without bubbles. The Element Case protectors just slap on, push the bubbles out (and no solution to worry about), but I am not sure of their clarity. The screen auto brightness is thrown off by the protector, and it seems harder to bring up the Control Center with a finger swipe from the bottom of the screen-up.

At any rate, insights appreciated.

Anyone got any thoughts on back film vs no back film? I had a rear film on my 4S but didn't bother on my original iPhone or 3GS, just kept them in a pouch (or sometimes a silicon case with the 3GS) and they seemed fine. How useful/ necessary are they on the 5/5s?

I ordered a set last night. Will find out how they are...

Do they want the old ones back? How many will they send?

Nothing gets sent back. All they ask is for your amazon order #. They confirm the address on the order # with you. Then they send a replacement pack of 3. I have done this 5 or so times already. They do not care how many times you do it:)

I use power support matte hd and have been using them since 3G or 3GS nothing else is cut as well

Been using the PS AG since 2007. Hands down, nothing I've used comes close, not just in terms of fit, but clarity and texture.

I've been using the Element Case protector for the last few days while I waited for my SGP nano slim TR to come in.

I have to say, I avoided using it for a while because I figured it would be pretty crappy, but it was one of the better one's I've used (for a privacy protector). It went on very easily, and I was able to remove and reapply to get dust off very easily as well. On the other hand, the clarity was total crap. Between the polarized filter and the matte finish, I couldn't wait to get it off.

I got the nano.slim.TR in today and put it on. It went on quite easily as well, and due to the thinness, peeling it off to get out the stray bit of dust was much easier than on the TR or the TR.slim. I used some extra tape as handles to hover it in place until it was in exactly the right spot, then dropped it down. Don't use the microfiber cloth they include to clean the screen, it leaves as much lint as it takes off due to the unfinished edges. The screen protector is very thin, and the rounded edges actually make it feel nicer to use the touchID button than it felt with the plastic protector. No complaints at all with this one.

Thanks for your comments. I like how the Element Case protector installs, but yes, I have found the clarity as being crap. The brightness sensor is not as sensitive, and getting the control center to pull up is also problematic. Might have to go back to Spigen.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions.

Two questions about the Power Support:

1) is there any problem with the cutout for the touch id sensor? Does the metal ring intrude anything?

2) why are people saying that Power Support doesnt sell in the US anymore. I just went to their website and saw nothing that said there was no shipping in USA.
