I previously had a Spigen Glas.tr Nano Slim on my 5S. I just got a MIME Feather+, and the difference is night and day. The F+ is barely there; I can even use my Lifeproof Fre without removing it.

And MIME's packaging is second to none.

That's actually good to know. do you happen to know how thick it is?

The literature said .15mm. The oleophobic is better and the cutouts for the home button and speaker are also tighter than on the Spigen. Lastly, I think the rounding on the edges is broader; it's rather pleasant.

I don't know if it was mention already but the luvvitt tempered glass 9H is a really good screen protector, it's only around $14 and they have great customer service, the first one I purchased for my iPhone 5s didn't stick in the corner so I emailed them and 2 days later I had a new one. I also have it on my galaxy s5 and they both looks great.

Currently, MIME seems to be out of stock of everything except the Feather.

Good thing I'm not in a hurry...

Hi guys! What is the best iPhone 5S glass screen protector so far?
I've read a couple of good reviews on MIME Feather+. But what about Spigen GLAS.tR NANO SLIM or iLoome Flex? Any other good choices?

I want a protector with rounded edges (and rounded home button edges too). Also the protector should be quite thin.

Thanks.

Feather+ is my favorite protector to date if you're in the market for thin. Rounded edges have made huge difference in longevity for me vs. the feather. Amazing customer service as well. Spigen used to have an edge (crap customer service though) but there are many better and cheaper options nowadays.

screen protectors

Hi all, was just wonder what the best screen for the 5S is. Will regular iPhone 5 protectors work with the 5S?

Plenty of options available these days for your screen protectors, amazon, ebay they have got thousands. Question is what do we consider while buying them?

Me I check the price, rating of the vendor, shipping cost and feedbacks of other clients when I buy them. Works pretty well.

I bought mine recently from http://www.ebay.com/itm/APPLE-iPhone-5S-Screen-protector-Front-Back-GEARMAXX-Ultra-Clear-/181227863177?pt=US_Cell_Phone_Screen_Protectors&hash=item2a3205bc89

It had for both the front and back side. 15 bucks and was shipped for free. So it was a good deal for me.

Give it a try, definitely worth it fro 15 bucks.
Cheers

there are good 5s screen protectors out there. I use Gearmaxx for my iPhone 5s and its amazing. If you want to replace your screen protector every two weeks, you can use any screen protector out there. But if you want longevity in a product with quality, you should go for Gearmaxx. :)

What about the tech 21 shield, where it's 3 layers? Anyone have experience with that? Was thinking of a screen protector with the impact mesh

Hi Truefan31, I know you posted this some months back but I wonder if you went for the Tech 21 shield, and your impression? I have the Impact Mesh also and have had a disastrous experience with the Mime Feather + (100% my fault installing, which I think might be attributable to its incompatibility with the Impact Mesh though I've yet to hear back from Mime's highly regarded customer service as to their thoughts) What was the outcome of your screen protector search? Thanks in advance!

Mime Feather Tale

Mime's customer service really came through for me and sent a 2nd glass free of charge to replace the one that I cracked during the first install. Second time, install went flawless except sadly for a small spot that doesn't obscure the screen on the lower right hand corner near the home button. No amount of pushing, pressing, rubbing, using gentle binder clip pressure overnight with microfibre towel has shrunk the size. At least it isn't getting bigger so for now, I'm going to leave this be . Not exactly satisfactory experience because the glass is not on perfect so it's not a 'show-off' install. But installation woes definitely not a fault of Mime's. Not entirely content to "settle", but I'm feeling pretty finished with this for now. I think some of us are just a little more challenged with the installation nonwithstanding the countless helpful tips and indeed the material provided by Mime itself (sticky dust screen, micro fibre cloth). So I would give the glass an absolute A+ for quality, feel, customer service but counsel that the installation while easy for some, is challenging for others (I raise my hand). Also discount or not, my budget at this point is fairly exhausted for this lovely phone.

(sorry for quality of pix, main camera on the blink using photo booth on the laptop: the bubble-y area is pretty visible if you zoom in on the right hand side of phone screen. like a little crescent moon)

I currently have a .3mm glass protector on mine and It's already quite thin. If I get something like a .15 or .2mm, would it still provide the same protection?
