I ended up taking the matte one off of my phone because the screen distortion was driving me crazy, and put on one of the "HD clear" ones and its great! The first one I put on my moms phone had a really sticky feel to it for some reason but the one that I put on my phone is extremely smooth without sacrificing the clarity of the screen. $7 or what ever it was for a pack of 3; you can't go wrong.

I always use a screen cleaner or wax to make it slippery.

+1 for Sir Lancelot's Armor by Holy Grail. got it off Amazon.

Easiest installation I have ever performed. Much like the Moshi covers that only stick on the colored edged, so no bubbles. Feels very smooth. I haven't tried to hit it with a hammer, though.

I Just installed my back protector and front and cuts are great .. But i notice a slight rainbow affect on front screen protector is this normal and will it go away or I just have a bad one ? I do notice it takes away fingerprints actually pretty good better then I thought ...

Edit ( update )

Looks like the slight rainbow effect I had experienced in the beginning has actually gone away. Looks good now ... Big plus is the cut out its really good

Neon Tuff

NEONTUFF is my favourite. Can hit your screen hard with a hammer and my wife has had one in her handbag on iPhone 4s for about 5 months and only has a few tiny marks..

I noticed when putting it on my 4s there were a few air bubbles that I couldn't push out but they were about to be pushed out the next day easily.

2 year warranty also :)

I have always had great experiences with Spigen screen protectors. They are great on the 5s.

Horrible cut outs!

I've been pleased with Tech Armor. I normally purchase SGP & Powersupport, but decided to give them and a try and happy with the look and fee.

Tech Armor iPhone 5s

+1 to tech Armor I bought the anti glare one and make the space gray iphone looks out of this world :)

I'm using the Feather Glass from MimeUSA on my 5s. Great quality

Ditto. Just got this. I had the ghost glass before and a bodyguardz pure glass. The thinness is amazing. The pure on a regular 5 button feels like how the feather is on the 5s. I think over 0.3mm may feel too deep with a 5s. I was considering the iloome flex but opted for mime for the replacements and harder glass.

Check out these guys...

Yes, I tried spigen before, and it's pretty nice. But saw a press release from these guys recently - ZEOS glassy. They have a site at www.zeosmobile.com. I think they already started selling on Amazon, though I bought it from their site at zeosdirect.com. They say their screen protectors are the first using corning gorilla glass. Bought one for my wife's iPhone 5s, and I must say, it's simply amazing! Hard to compare, but on initial observation, I think it's by far the best I've every seen. But lets see how it holds up. Will post my long term review on this after about a month or so. IMHO, we spend $650 for an iPhone, and some people end up buying chap plastic ones and cover that beautiful HD Retina display! Buy a glass one - any brand like Spigen, bodyguards or maybe these new guys Zeos.

So your recommendation is to put glass on top of glass? =\

What thickness did you get? They have .4mm, .33mm & .2mm. I need to get one and might give these guys a try.

Gotta say it's the Bodyguardz Pure. Nothing like them. I have one on my 5S and on my Air. With their replacement policy...just can't beat it. They are a little pricey, but well worth it IMO.

The Halo 3pack works fine for me, actually. Five bucks shipped from Amazon, PERFECT cutouts, flawless install, HD clear.

Hi all,
I'm looking for a screen protector for my 5, but I only need it to have minimal scratch resistance, very thin and not alter the appearance and sensitivity of the phone. I already have a pouch/sleeve that protects the phone 99% of the time, and at most, I've only suffered light scratching in the past.
something cheap and thin is what I was looking for... Almost like cling film, but with a bit more protection.

Can anyone make any recommendations?

Thanks.
