I have this case for the 13“ M4 iPad Pro and it absolutely supports sleep/wake now. I bought it as a temporary case while I wait for Logitech’s combo touch to arrive. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and design, I would absolutely recommend.
Yeah it's just the 11 inch model that's affected but I'm getting a replacement thankfully

The 11" is the one affected. Sleep and wake doesn't work for me as long as the case is inserted. I think it may be a magnet that adheres on the tablet's back that's confusing the sensor or something. Big shame because I already filled it with stickers before realizing it's defective.

I am very happy with the Otterbox case. It is thin and I like that I can remove the front cover (magnets), push out the kickstand and use the iPad. The kickstand only goes out so far, and that could be improved, but it feels well built. I also like that there is a little area for the pencil so that it doesn't get knocked off when it gets bumped.
Is there a way to use in the otterbox in a raised typing position?

I like the ESR case because it can be used as just a back cover to make it level enough to lie on the desk. Once we got Apple Pencil and magnets everywhere, a lot of simple back cover cases and bumpers just disappeared.
Ooo I would love a bumper

I have a 13" with Cellular. Sometimes it works, but most of the time doesn't. I'll keep it and wait a few weeks to get a replacement.

Do reach out to ESR support as they were super helpful in my case.

They gave me a full refund in the end and told me I can put some paper on the bottom left part of the iPad to fix it - it works.

Interesting workaround - I just tried it with my 13" Pro that wasn't going to sleep and this works. I'll follow up with ESR - how did they refund it? Through Amazon?

does anyone have a recommendation for a stand for the 13” M4 Pro? like one where the iPad is hovering/floating.

I have seen some for older iPads and some have magnets. I would prefer that over one that has clasps to secure the iPad.

Weird, right?! They processed it through Amazon after I gave them my order number. They did offer me the choice to keep the old case for a 50% refund and get the new one for free but sadly wasn't possible in my country so I just received the full refund - the workaround is OK for me.

Okay now I'm absolutely interested in knowing WHY THIS WORKS XDDDDDD
Thank you so much! You're a lifesaver!

I am pretty happy that I bought the Torro case. I once ruined the screen of my iPad on the stairs at my workplace when I let the iPad slip so having good protection is worth the cost in weight and Euros to me. Wake up and sleep works as well even if they did not advertise it on their website.

I tried the ESR "Shift Magnetic Case" but it did not magnetically stay closed. Would really love a case that allows portrait but magnetically, not just sitting on the case

I have a tri-fold Torro on the 12.9 that I passed on to my wife - a really well-made case. ESR seems to have jumped the gun and got some out there that aren't working well, e.g. on my 13" Pro.

Looks like Pitaka has something available soon... I just ordered one for my 11" Pro

I got the TORRO folio for my 13" Pro today, direct from TORRO - every bit as good as it is on our 12.9.

Just ordered the leather Burton Goods Apple Magic Keyboard case for my 13" M4 iPad Pro. If you already own one can you share some impressions of it? I'm not finding much out there. Maybe the case has not been released yet? Sometimes there are more than one pre-order phases?

I've been a fan of Pad & Quill that has transitioned to Burton Goods. So I have high hopes I'll enjoy this case for my iPad Pro M4.

I saw that same case - nice. But there had been a post - now deleted - on Reddit with a picture showing that the cutout around the camera was ill-fitting. The pic was really clear but I don't know why the post was deleted. But just a heads-up to check that out. Looking forward to a review on it if you would post one.

I’ll follow up once I receive it. If it has issues I’ll return it. I’m not big on returns. But it needs to be worth the price.

They make nice stuff - I'm now thinking it may have been someone getting the wrong case, hence the removal of the post.

Is that the magnetic one - where the iPad just attaches directly to the folio (without the plastic frame)? How do you find it?

It looks like a really nice option, but a couple of the Amazon reviews commented that they felt like the magnets weren’t strong enough?

I bought direct from TORRO, quick delivery -

It is the no-frame version and the magnets are absolutely fine.
