Since when does it take days to decide on a cell phone ? I just got a cell phone last year when I came to college. I am glad I have it but its kind of annoying at times. Think about it dont waste $200 on a PHONE after you have it for a month you want think it's gods gift to earth anymore. I have a Nokia that was free from verizon and it works just fine make a call receive a call dont need to be able to calculate quantum physics on my cell phone for an extra $100.

I like to research maybe. Of course I wasnt a phone to make calls but I also want to listen to music, it seems like if I don't get the iPhone then I shouldn't get a phone at all?

And I think I might just be trading my Treo 650 for a Sync(I know the Treo is worth more, but it's scratched and the Sync goes for over 200 bucks unlocked)

I really do not have a recomendation for a phone becuase why do you need one? If your only 15 its not like you can drive, and anywhere you get a ride your mom or dad will probably know about. So save your money and get something more worthwhile. Trust me I thought that I needed a phone ever since I was 14 but now that im 17 I realize how much of a hassle it actually is. Sure it is nice sometimes but it is definetly not a necesisty until you drive. So anyways good luck on the phone search.

Why couldn't he drive I got my liscense three years ago, and I'm only 17?

I was gonna say Fisher-Price

But wont. The best phone for a 15 year old is whatever he wants and can afford. But HE should afford it. No momma paying for it!

Just pick a damn phone dude! Treos? Syncs? What do you own a business or something?

Get a nice phone that makes calls, and a Shuffle. If you need a camera, get one for your birthday or Xmas or Hanukkah or somethin. You don't need an iPhone or any other smartphone.

I AM paying for it myself and I DO take care of my phones. Don't just catoragize me as a typical teenager who doesn't give a second care about anything. I had an iPod for 4 and a half years before it broke, I think i am capable of taking care of a phone.

And I have a Treo because my dad didn't need his anymore, so he let me have it. I think I should be allowed to by any phone I want once every 2 years, when the majority of other kids have there mom and dads by them new phones 4 times a year.(Yes, that's the average)

This isn;t going anywhere an I REALLY want to thank those who helped me in finding a new phone. But now I'm going to ask to have this thread locked.

What about a Sony Ericsson K750 or K800?? After being an SE user for years, I now have a Motorola mobile and I absolutely hate it. Sony Ericsson is the bomb ****. The only thing I like about it is the alarm clock, but I think the newer SE phones have multi-alarms as well.

SE phones have an abomination masquerading as an address book. You can only enter one phone number per category per contact (so if one contact has two mobile phones and two home phones, well...).

Also, despite the huge amount of Flash memory the phones pack, most are partitioned to use only for multimedia (photos etc.). The rest is shared between address book and messages, to the point that if your inbox fills up, it starts corrupting your address book, beginning with the entries you use last!

Personally, I like keeping my music player separate from my phone. I'd recommend a Nokia -- great address book, the call button is on the right side (like on OS X), and flawless iSync compatibility (not the case with SE). My free-with-contract 6201i plays MP3s just fine, though it does not have a proper stereo jack. With a contract you can probably get an N-series that rivals the SE phones in any category.

Get one of those tablet's you can surf the net take pictures call people listen to music download music it has built in microwave and toaster oven.Everything you need in a phone!!!
