This is my kind of review. He addressed every single question I've read over the last few days. People wondering why you would choose the 6 over the 6 Plus, is it worth the camera upgrade to spend the extra money, how does he battery hold up in real life, and does it overall make you feel like you own the best phone out there.

Knowing that I use my phone for more of the interactive nature (messaging, tweeting, and sharing photos) and less for long term use (gaming, movie watching) I feel pretty good about my choice to get the 6 at a larger capacity and avoid the 6 Plus (for now).

A review that makes you understand how the phones going to perform to meet your personal needs? Well isn't that a new thought. Way to go man, well done indeed.

This.

I think I was initially swayed by the 6 Plus for the large screen, larger battery and to be honest the fact that everyone wants it and it's different. The 6 seems to be the better fit for what I do with my phone (messaging, photos, social media). Maybe I'll try the 6S Plus next time :D

Last Friday I went to my favorite ATT store to order an iPhone 6. I was having a problem deciding which phone I wanted, and while I waited I played with the other phones that ATT had in the store. I found one near the size of each and checked them mainly for the size of the font, and how much of a page could show on the screen.

When my turn came to order, I went with the iPhone 6, but had been concerned about the camera as I enjoy taking photos. I'm a moderately good amateur and like a good photo.

After reading this excellent review, I believe I made the right choice. I have to admit that I saw the difference between the photos of the hotel, but it isn't enough for me to pay the extra money for it. I think it will help a lot with videos, but I take very few of them.

I enjoyed this review a lot and have sent it to a friend who is going to order one in a few weeks. I don't do that with very many reviews.

Good review. I'll be putting this to the test. I leave for Disney World Saturday morning and hopefully with a 6+ in hand.

Can't wait to hang out in lines with my 6+ on Saturday at Disneyland. We go every weekend just about and by half way through the day my 5 dies. (Premium passports)

I will call your attention to another very interesting, though very different, article on the iPhone 6, which I think sheds some light on why some have gravitated towards one model over another.

Anyway, prior to Apple's September media event, I had thoroughly disgarded the 5.5" iPhone 6 as a model I would ever choose. Coming from modest screen sizes for so long, the 4.7" iPhone seemed like the logical next choice, and anything larger seemed ridiculous. But then I printed out the cardboard cutouts and quickly concluded that the iPhone 6 Plus, while certainly bigger, was still manageable. Then there's the better screen, the better battery, and the better camera.

But what is really drawing me towards the iPhone 6 Plus is the idea that it can act as a portable computer. I use my phone for everything. Browsing the web, reading news articles, taking pictures, listening to music, responding to emails, etc. That all takes a toll on battery life. Still, the IPhone 6 Plus is thicker, more expensive, and harder to use one-handed.

Portability and easier one-handed usability at the cost of battery life and screen resolution, or vice versa. This review made an excellent case for the iPhone 6 Plus, which I'm leaning towards, but still I am undecided.

Lucky you... I'm leaving tomorrow morning to Disney World (day before launch), and it is scheduled to be here for pick up on the 19th. I'll have to use my iPhone 5 on this trip. :(

Great review... can't wait to use my iPhone 6 plus... but spending time with my wife and 2 boys at Disney World is what I look forward to over a phone.

Have fun man, this is a trip i want to plan for me and my wife soon, nothing like disconnecting from the chaos and rejuvenating the relationship, and you have kids so that makes it even better

Getting 6S Plus next year after the 6 this year isn't an awful idea.

Normally we end up only getting a speed bump and one cool feature on the S model. By getting 6 this year and going up in screen size next year, we would get something more of of next year's update.

I was glad to see mine was gonna get to me before my flight leaves the next morning. That said Diagon Alley at Universal is making me way more excited than any Apple product ever could.

Urgh.. off topic I know, but this rang so true:

"It’s tens of thousands of people packed into the same square mile, all using devices to do the exact same thing you are. The network is crushed, it’s bright and hot and you’re juggling kids and strollers and other vacationers."

This is why I've only ever been to Disneyland once... and I used to work for Disney with a free pass! :)

But yeah, good review.

My mom loves Disneyland, seriously loves. We went on Christmas one year a few years ago, the park maxed out, so many people...

The thing is that it is gaudy, it is crowded but it isn't bad every once in a while. When I went to school in OC, people I knew would go there for lunch. I had no idea why but hey :)

And the thing I was thinking of in terms of people comments toward the review. Like when you are line, don't you just talk with the people you are with? Maybe play on your phone, whatever but I rather just talk with the people I'm with. And the only time I've had a bad line at an amusement park in the last 10 years was when the Indiana Jones ride broke at Disneyland and they were trying to get it working. Otherwise, lines aren't that bad and you can a time slot to get on a ride.
