You guys finding that the black borders don’t cut the screen off ? It’s pretty much the right amount of black?

I received the iCarez full coverage with the black border from Amazon. Easy to install and so far is my favorite protector. (I tried the ESR full coverage with no border). The black border I feel hides the small pieces of lint that make the edges of the clear look dirty after awhile. I’ve used iCarez I the last on my 11 pro Max and have been very pleased with the quality. The oleophobic coating feels very nice and all sensors appear to be working.

Total screen protectors are usually the obvious choice for a “cleaner” looking screen however, I’ve found that the lone speaker cutout on top acts like a pit for dust and grime and can be difficult to clean out effectively.

I’ve switched back to notched screen protectors because they’re way easier to clean, albeit somewhat of an eyesore to some.

I am very happy with this one as well. They always have excellent protectors with a good oleophobic coating.

And then don't protect all the glass. No reason for anyone to be using these as the full screen ones are all easy to install on the 12 series

I bought this one and installed it on my 12PM. Super easy to install and comes with a guide and wipes. I really like the feel of it.

Decided, reading through this thread, to get the iCarez iPhone 12Pro full screen protector with the black border. We will see. I’ve already scratched my screen without the protector so hopefully I don’t be able to see the scratches anymore (my OCD!!!).
if that doesn’t work, I will go to the Flolab one.

I've been a huge fan of Spigen's EZ FIT GLAS.tr screen protectors. You get two in a pack and they each come with an applicator that makes putting it on your phone foolproof, and you get a perfect fit every time.
I just put one of these on and it was amazingly easy. I would highly recommend them.

so, Flolab gets a "worth it" rating from me, assuming it holds up over time since there aren't replacements
As a heads up to anyone else looking at the Flolab, if you sign up and add it to your cart but don’t check out, they seem to send a unique 20% code a day or two later. Might help those looking to save a few bucks.

Was on the fence but pulled the trigger on this one.

I grabbed a pack of these no-name protectors when they were on sale a couple of days ago for $7.50 or something:

I can confirm they’re great for the price. Decent oleophobic coating, full coverage, easy install, and they get along pretty well with an Apple leather case. Still leaves a small “dust collection” gap on the edges so it could probably accommodate a case with a more rounded lip, but it’ll be a tight fit.

I‘m a big fan of the black borders on these—I find it integrates much more nicely into the edges of the iPhone’s screen than the plain edge versions, and is much less prone to visible bubbling around the edges.

I’m a firm believer in paying as little as possible for these as, in my experience, the cheap ones work just as well and look as good or better than the pricier ones with inflated packaging design/branding budgets. 😎

Got the iCarez. Love it except ONE THING. When you wear polarized sunglasses, it is very difficult to see the screen. Disappointed. What are the options that I can use when wear my sunglasses??

I believe you’d get that annoying effect with or without a screen protector on, wouldn’t you?

Cheap full screen ones are known to mess with True Tone and the sensor during phone calls. The oleophobic coating doesn’t last as long either so you’ll need to replace them every 8-10 weeks versus a higher quality one where it’s every 7-14 months. (I’ve seen zagg ones still have the oleophobic coating on well after a year of use). So no they’re not one al the same

Well, so far so good with these. No issues with the sensor or otherwise. ;)

The $3 protector I have on my 6S is about a year and a half old now. Oleophobic has indeed worn off, but it’s otherwise been great. Y’all are welcome to use whatever works best for you, naturally. I just wanted to share my experience with this particular set and declare them “perfectly adequate”.

Anybody using the imos with the 12 pro or max?I still have my imos on my iPhone X.

I have the ESR one on my phone right now and I’m happy with it but I’ve ordered the Flolab one as it seems to come up as top in screen protector head to head reviews It’s on its way from China right now. Once it arrives I’ll probably wait for the lockdown to end and take it to the kiosk in the shopping centre where I normally go to have them put on as you only get one.

Looking for one myself now. The ESR fit perfectly and look amazing. For a day.

They seem to have zero scratch resistance and despite babying my phone they each had massive scratches within 24/48 hours. Clearly the screen protectors quality isn’t up there with the quality of their cases.

Any UK people recommend a full screen one? I’d go spigen but they have a notch cut out and I hate it.
