Got the iCarez. Love it except ONE THING. When you wear polarized sunglasses, it is very difficult to see the screen. Disappointed. What are the options that I can use when wear my sunglasses??
Same with Spigen. I had no problem with Spigen on ip 11 pro max. Thanks for your input

Ordered the glast from spigen UK site as it clearly shows them not having a notch cut out.

Arrived today. They have the notch cut out 🙄

To be honest I think you just got unlucky. There are a lot of people here with ESR screen protector including myself and ours all seem to be fine. I even dropped my phone from like two feet up on the Tube and it fell face down but the screen protector hasn’t cracked nor does it have any scratches.
I put on 4 ESR protectors on 4 different 12’s. No complaints from anyone.

I have have a scratch about 1,5 cm from the bottom left up and in on the screen. No biggie, I can always just put on a new screen protector.

But, kind of boring that it happens after like four days and no drop/scratch situation that I know of when they say it's so scratch resistant.

All three of the ESR protectors i tried scratched within 24 hours. The fit is perfect but they're not scratch resistant

ESR sent me a message at Amazon that they had a problem with the Pro Max edge to edge screenprotectors that result in microbubbles which can’t be pushed away in any kind.

This is the reason why they are currently unavailable for the Pro Max. They are improving the product.

I didn't have any issues with bubbles on the two I installed for wife and my Pro Max. I also am new to screen protectors, so I'm sure my technique is lousy... so definitely not due to my skills.

LOL. And I’m the screen protector queen in our family. Even to the point where my son-in-law who works for the tolling stations in our state, had me install film protectors on all their new touch monitors.

My Shellrus arrived yesterday for my iPhone 12 Pro. I really like it. Though the Feeling is the same as a normal screen protector but only feels a bit "colder". Time will see how it will hold up.

The best one I've ever used by far is one I got in Japan called "Nippon Glass". 10H and super smooth. You couldn't even tell there was a protector on. It was about $70 Canadian, but worth every penny. I had one for my XR and then my 11PM. Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to get one for my 12PM as obviously I can't go to Japan this year.

Right now I've got an ESR on and it's pretty good. Doesn't have the notch. It's not nearly as smooth and show fingerprints a lot more than the Nippon Glass though.

Questions for those with an ESR no notch glass protector on their iPhone 12 Pro/Max:
  1. Any concerns about dust showing up on the inside edges of the screen since it doesn't have a border?
  2. How edge to edge is the protector? The iCarez that I have for my 12 Pro Max leaves quite a bit of screen exposed at the edges

I wound up ordering the Spigen screen protector that covers the entire screen, but it's not expected to arrive until December 11. My case hasn't even shipped yet. My 12 Pro Max arrived today, but I have no protection...

I have the flolab screen protector on my iPhone 12 pro max. Very high quality and can’t even tell its on the phone. They have a few options, but the one I have has full coverage - black borders and no notch cut out. Definitely worth the $25!

Do you have a closeup of how close the edge of the screen protector is to the edge of the phone’s frame?

Picked up Flolab on cyber Monday. Waiting to get it. Only one screen so hope I don’t screw up! Hahah

I usually buy Tech Armor as they have always worked very well... bought a 3 pack of cheap glass protectors on eBay this time.

first one went on excellent... one tiny spot near the top left notch... I doubt I remove this screen protector for at least a couple years.

love this PB 12 Pro and totally satisfied on how I have it cased and protected.

Is there a screen protector that would cover the whole Iphone screen? Not stopping when the olen pannel ends.

For those that purchased the Flolab:

Will the Flolab full screen protector work with a case? Specifially, the ultrathin cases like Caudabe Veil or Peel?

For all the recent Flolab questions for pics of black edges / case - check out my previous post in here, it's definitely pretty great on all those counts and passed the real test (read on below..) https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/best-screen-protectors.2263626/post-29234886

I was coming here to give an update that i dropped my phone last night (in apple clear case) with flolab and it fell like a ton of bricks onto pavement. It looked so totally shattered, i was positive there was going to be real phone damage. But you know what, when i took the Flolab off it was totally perfect! So awesome.

however, i've just ordered the iCarez that others have mentioned here because I'm not crazy about dropping another large chunk of change on flolab lol, and I do think the protection was the same as what I'd have gotten from any tempered glass. but seriously was fortunate it went so far to the edges and that the case had a lip on it.

I think i'm going to move to my cal poppy leather all the time now, though, because that apple clear case was just tooooo slippery, my initial worry came to fruition :/

Please let us know how the iCarez compares. I have a sneaky suspicion they are completely and utterly identical (this coming from a guy who just sprung for a Flolab lol).

I can't tell how close the edge to edge protection is as it's blurry when zooming in, but I see some exposed screen close to the bezels, albeit very little?

The iCarez I got for my GF's Pro Max, in terms of coverage, at least for me, is surprisingly disappointing. There's a lot of exposed screen along the edges when used with the Spine Clear Case, even with a perfect install, that dust can easily get trapped underneath the edges.

I got Best Buy's Insignia screen protectors - has notch cutout, 2 units in a pack for 20 bucks. Clean fit, does the job.

I put the shellrus sapphire protector on today. So far so good, but it took me a while to work out the bubbles after application. Was worth it though - looks and feels great.
