I'd try a hobby store or if there are any mom and pop hardware stores, I'd try there. Can't think of many places that stock that tiny of a pentalobe

hobby or computer store. if you have a micro center near you i know they have them

Thanks, guys. I'll go check out a hobby store here in town in a bit and see if they can help me out. I just tried Radio Shack, but no luck. I may just have to order one from Apple Parts Store (where I got the back plate from).

This is torture having everything in place and no way to install it...lol. :D

You could prolly find one on eBay in th US for much cheaper. Mine from cnn was like $2 I think.

Or you could check Craigslist. If anyone is offering iPhone repair, they prolly have a few extras, maybe you could buy one off em

Thanks again, guys. I did get one from eBay, but it's just a little too big. I gave it another try tonight, and I was able to back the screws out, so I've put the white back plate on. Unfortunately, I can't get the screws completely tightened back down because, again, the screwdriver is just a hair too big. So, while the back plate is on and the screws are screwed back in, they're not as tight as I would like.

I'll have to check out that Craigslist idea, too. And I'll do a little more searching around town tomorrow.

Glad to hear you got it swapped atleast!

I've been curious about what the black/white combo looks like *hint hint* ;)

I ordered the carbon fiber back plate for my iphone 4, however after installing it i notice a drop in reception. anyone else have problems with their back plates and reception issues?

Carbon Fiber is definitely going to hit your reception.. Just the nature of that material. Same thing with some of the aluminum cases or carbon fiber cases. With my aluminum backplate, I had just a minor drop in reception.
