You know when you were a kid and you peeled off these decals from a backing that weren't sticky underneath, but they would still stick to a window or mirror? Feels like those.

+1. I really am not enjoying the tackiness of their film.

Does any one feel that the sensitivity while using a stylus drops a notch with the BSE screen protectors? I'm getting uneven writing even in Penultimate!!

Soap

Hi, I have recently received my shield in the post and was looking at installing it today. I am really here to ask what sort of soap people are using in the solution if they us soap at all.
I have 2 types of soap in my house:
- http://www.britstore.co.uk/phpThumb.php?src=/photos/palmolive_handwash.jpg&w=200&h=200

One of them is a washing up soap the other a creamy hand soap.
Which one would be the best or what soap should I buy

Thanks
(sorry for long post)

No, none at all. I notice no difference using my Boxwave Stylus since installing the BSE. I am using Penultimate and Noteshelf.

Thanks! Was trying to determine if it was me or the film. Now I know it's me. I'm using a cheapo China knock off stylus and will go about getting a better one.

Has anyone had issues with the placement of the cutouts? I ordered the back skin during their sale a couple weeks ago and just tried the installation.

I tried lining up the camera and the speaker cutout - but when the camera cutout was centered - the top of the speaker was covered by a good 1/8". The 30-pin connector was completely covered and the whole left side (viewing from the front) extended past the screen about 1/16" - 1/8". The right side (camera, volume, landscape) lined up great - but overall I think my back skin fit really sucked. The application went on smooth - and for the sake of keeping the back protected I "improvised"

I emailed BSE and hopefully they'll send out a replacement - but I find it odd that I haven't seen anyone else with this issue.

I have exactly this issue. Got my BSE a few days ago in the mail and finally took the plunge with installing it. First thing I noticed was the issue with the cutouts. I took the skin off because I didn't want to try improvising :p

I emailed them though and mentioned the problem. It's good to know that they replaced yours, hopeful for me too. I ordered during the sale also...

I should mention that i tried to improvise by cutting the cutouts myself a little but they are so off that I'd really have to cut a lot just to make thing align properly....almost 1cm off the bottom.

Just got my response from BSE. Apparently there was a problem with the cutting of the skins on the day I ordered and they are aware of it; obviously enough people with the same problem have emailed. They sent out a Total Body skin replacement today. Very impressed with the customer service. A lot better than the recent issues I've been having with Apple regarding "manufacturer defects" not being covered

Don't use a creamy soap! The best would be baby shampoo, but of what you have I would say the washin soap. Use very little though! And make sure that your spray bottle doesn't have bubbles in it.

I love the back protection, but could no longer stand the front protector. I have since replaced it with a power support anti glare. One word: amazing!

+1 love the back skin! Smooth to touch yet still have grip. But seriously whats so great about the powersupport protector? My friend has one applied and mine is the cheap $3 from ebay. We cant even tell the difference. He felt ripoff. We both have the glossy one.

On the two devices I installed the BSE's on, I didn't make a solution. I just sprayed LCD screen cleaner on the film until it was real wet and then applied. Specifically I used a Monster brand LCD screen cleaner, but I think most are pretty much the same. Came out great both times.

I actually own the antiglare one. The antiglare ones have a huge difference between power support vs. eBay.

how so? not trying to be smart. but can you elaborate?

also, can someone speak to the difference between powersupport and sgp, besides the price.?

Finally, clear versus anti-glare? supposedly the anti-glare effects the image quality. (?) I guess you have to select on the trade-off of image vs glare and fingerprints. ?

Thanks!

Power support has the best clarity so there is little graininess, it has no rainbow effect like the cheap ones, and is easiest to install. Power support's effect on the image is very little.

£10 + £2 delivery.

It's good practice to Google promo codes when shopping online. Just wanted to share that I got a MBA Wrapsol 50% off so with tax and shipping it was $36.

Skin for the smart cover

Since I bought my iPad 2 I was looking for a skin for the smart cover and not for the iPad itself.

After looking and looking, I found one site and bought one for my sister. Im thinking of buying one for myself.
