BSE iPad 2 3G Full body

I have a 3G full body to sell. My wife decided not to get the 3G version so this is just sitting in my house. IF anyone wants it I will sell for cheaper then I paid. Just send me a Message or email at Machine6483@aol.com

I also have full body iPhone 4, iPhone 4 sides and back, and iPad front cover (bought a full body but didn't install the front on my Wifi iPad.

Thanks!!

hi there, i am concern about the BSE backskin 's compatibility with the smart cover, does it weaken the magnetic strength?

Works great. I have a BSE on front and back with a blue smart cover. No problems at all. Magnet is VERY strong.

I have the same only the grey smart cover. Magnet holds just as good as if there was no BSE installed IMO.

On a side note I am switching from Zagg on my iPhone 4 to a BSE. I'm happy with the outcome on my iPad 2.

ok ty people, that good to know, especially when it as good as there was no BSE installed :)

I have an iPad 2 full body (wifi+3G) that I will not be using. I originally ordered 2 but my wife has decided that she doesn't want the 3G and will be getting the wifi only model. I also have the front screen for iPad 2 since I decided I like the feel of the iPad screen and didn't use the front screen protector.

If anyone is interested please send me a private message. I also have a full body iPhone 4 as well as the border and back for iPhone 4. I bought 2 of those as well and decided to only use the back for my iPhone and my wife didn't want to use it on her phone. I use a china bumper and wanted more protection on the back glass for my phone. Wife didn't want ANYTHING I bought her lol

I'm just looking to recoup some of the money I lost purchasing these since I won't be using them. I'll sell for $40 for the whole set shipped which is about a $10 loss to me. I might have a better chance selling individually so if you send me a pm I will give you prices for which items you want.

Thanks guys! My loss can be your gain lol looking to get some money back and help some of you Mac rumors friends out in the process.

EDIT: You can also email me at Machine6483@aol.com I also forgot to mention that we can go through Paypal for the transaction :)

That is definitely a ripoff, nobody listen to this guy!!

Here is BSE on mine: :D

I love how BSE tackled the corners. I have a BodyGuardz installed sweetly, but BSE have better corners. ;)

scratches from squeegee??

I just installed my BSE cover for my ipad2. I followed the directions from the website video. It went on smoothly and without bubbles. I am waiting for it to "cure" so that the cloudiness from the water and soap on the screen will dissipate.

My only problem is that a see numerous minute scratches from on the topside of the protector. This may have occurred from the card used to press out the bubbles during the application (as was directed in the instructions). I know there were no sharp edges on the card as I also used it to install a protector on my iphone 3gs at the same time and no scratches formed on that cover. The Iphone has a PS but I did not want to leave my new ipad unprotected until they release theirs.

I am waiting for the ipad 2 to clear (24 hours) to see if is less visible over time but am concerned that if this simple operation had that kind of effect on the screen protector, what will every day use cause? Isn't this why I am applying a protector? so that I don't have to view my screen through scratches?

Hi,

I have received it but I need to know where liquid I have to use and how get it beacuse I only received the sreen protector film.

Thanks

Yeah, it was probably the card. There shouldn't be any scratches on it. Request a replacement and next time try a different tool...I use a piece of pliable rubber that came with a wrapsol kit....then wrap it in a wet microfiber cloth (the kind that you get from the optometrist) and use that to lightly squeegee the water out. i also leave the surface a little wet when i wipe.

I got a BSE because of this thread. I had no problems applying the skin using a drivers license card wrapped in a paper towel.

One of my favorite aspects of the skin is the little bit of 'tackiness' it adds to the back of the ipad. Because of that I can almost palm the ipad, and just support the unit with my fingertips from the back. It's as comfortable as holding your hand in front of your face and is a much more natural posture. There is much less strain on my wrist than there is when I try to grip the ipad from the edge, like a magazine. Anyway, I'm sure you all already know this, just wanted to say this product is more than just a scratch guard.

Got my Power Support anti-glare today which I was excited about but the BSE looks great so may hold off. The front went on with just water and I was worried about bubbles etc but no fizziness or smear at all.

Hi everyone,

I just ordered a BSE total for my iPad 2 and wanted to know can i get away with just using water rather than soap and water to apply the skin both front and back?

Also anyone worried about getting water into the home button on the front? There is no way I can see one could push the water away from that hole.

Also worried about the back speaker grill getting water into it.

Thanks everyone.

Yes, just use water, works fine.

I think I got some water in my speaker grill upon install and for a few hours I had no audio (iPad thought headphones were plugged in). Waited an hour and rebooted and it was fine. Could be a coincidence.

Cover the speaker grill, dock connector, and headphone jack with some precision-cut tape, and all will be fine. The home button should be ok.

Yeah I used tape on the speakers but no worries about the home button. Just hold a paper towel there over the hole and guide the water to the sides from the hole outward.

I didn't cover the speaker grille, squeegeed like 1/4" of the film towards speaker grille and rest away from it. Still got some in there but I had it sit overnight to make sure everything was dry (they recommend 24-48 hours but... yeah I'm not waiting that long :) )

No sharp edges on my card....just it's existence made the scratches. Wrapping it in a microfiber cloth might solve this problem. Notified BSE and a new one is on it's way.

Ultimately, I think I prefer PS.
