Hi,

I did install my BSE glossy on my iPhone 7 Matte black.

I am very statisfied with the result, my first try was with the matte skin, which did not worked well, especially the corners are extreme hard.

Now my second try with the full glossy skin looks flawless, the corners are near 100% at the right place without dust! My matte black iPhone 7 looks like the jet black if you look from 1-2 meters, you can not see much difference.

It has a mix from jet black and matte black, awesome.

But the best part is the grip, i can finally use my iPhone 7 without using a case and it still very convenient. Hope the skin will last a long time :)

Regards.

I got the matte skin and put it on my matte black phone. The sides alone took about half an hour to stay on. I finished it off by wrapping the phone in plastic wrap to make sure they stick. I was able to do it on my first try and by the looks of it right now, there are no bubbles. Ill post pictures once i take the plastic wrap off. Tip for installation, do it right after a steamy shower in the bathroom. The steam reduces dust and fibers in the air.

My first attempt was with a full matte body wrap. I was unsatisfied with the corners as they didn't completely adhere, there was a visible bubble on the apple logo, and around the antenna bands. I've used bestskinsever for multiple devices and had always been satisfied until this attempt. I contacted BSE and they responded right away and sent me a complimentary simple. BSE went above and beyond imo with regards to their customer service. I prefer the simple matte skin, but that's my preference because I didn't have to deal with the somewhat fussy corners. The apple logo seems to have some adhesion issues as well as around the antenna bands, but not as badly as my first attempt. Overall I am quite satisfied.

Looks like there will never be peace of mind for users of the Jet Black model.

First we were worried about scratches on the Jet Black phones and then now we are worried that after protecting the Jet Black phone, the lettering may come off. He He.

There will never be peace of mind.

In this case, I suggest the users of Jet Black to install their skins properly or through a professional so that you don't have to re-do the installation again.

Usually when I put 3M films to protect the phone body I get the installation done by a professional and I normally don't remove the film until the day I sell my phone. I hope to do the same this time again. Usually the sides I keep re-doing if they come off (because of inserting and pulling off the phone in my leather pouch) but the back usually is stuck on nicely.

May be a possible solution would be to put the hair dryer over the area where the lettering is and then after it is slightly warm, remove the film slowly so that it will not pull out the lettering?
When you say you have a professional do the install...where do you go? Any particular store do this?
