I ordered on the 28th and got my shipping confirmation today 6/30 hopefully I get the new version. I actually plan on just using the sides and maybe the back, because I had previously ordered anti glare front and back protectors. Really cant beat the price, I got two full body sets for less than one set of Zagg.

For 8 bucks and change for a full body shield, you cant really complain.

Dont understand what this orange peel effect is, arent all skins never clearly crystal clear and "invisible"?

The orange peel effect looks something like this.

See how it looks like an orange peel ;)

I've noticed that it is noticeable on the display (on my iPhone 3G, skin is lasting almost 2 years by the way) when it's turned on but not enough to make it bothersome (at least for me). Maxing out the brightness does make it less noticeable.

Well, I have yet to see an "invisible" protector, but I'm sure there are some where it is isn't noticeable at all with the display on. Powersupport is one of them.

Hope this helps.

BSE is a great product. A clean and simple cut making it easier to apply and longer lasting that the overpriced Zagg.

Secondly, installing any skin on the screen and subjecting yourself to the orange peel is criminal. BSE the back and sides, and power support film the front ftw. Trust me. :)

Does BSE cover the volume buttons? The pics on their web site don't show cut outs on the side panel.

Nevermind - I looked at the pics in an earlier post.

Waiting on by BSE. Just removed it from my original iPhone. That sucker is in pristine condition.

Even with a 50% code from Zagg, BSE comes out cheaper.

Don't forget about customer support either. Cheaper and FAR better customer support than Zagg. Faster shipping, faster service.

I really love me some BSE.

They are excellent. I contacted them after receiving my order for 2 iPhone 4 skins about no cutout for flash. Turns out pol had been complaining and started shipping them with the cutout. They immediately offered to ship me 2 new ones free and to keep the ones I had. Got the shipment confirmation 15 minutes after initial email. Excellent service.

Hmmm...I sent the inquiry though their "Contact Us" link yesterday. I got a tracking number, but no response at all yet.

Typically 24-48 response on those, and I'm sure they are inundated with requests for replacements, making responding a little slow.

Ahh ok see now what people are talking about, but that is over time right? I mean look at you ya got 2 years on your iphone 3G and its barely showing signs of discoloration thats amazing.

Can you link me to this PowerSupport shield for the iPhone 4? I suppose theyre really expensive

That's not actually my iPhone. It's just an example of the orange peel effect that I found online. That's how it would like after a fresh installation by the way. That orange peel effect is pretty much permanent and really won't go away with time.

Regarding discoloration, there is absolutely none my iPhone 3G as well as my brother's 3GS (who also has a BSE installed).

Overall BSE is a quality product that I am really satisfied with.

I should have stuck to my original plan of BSE sides and back with powersupport on the front, but now I'm stuck with a potentially defective wrapsol ultra that will soon be delivered

Thanks christyn !

for just a front shield 20 bucks is pretty pricey (but if they are as great as people are making them to be maybe its worth it)

It does come with 2 fronts though. It is totally worth it.

It's killing me that I have to wait until the end of July for PowerSupport. In the meantime, I'm wasting money on other skins/cases.

Agree 100%, definitely worth the money.

I just have the SGP front shield on atm. It's pretty good, but not as good as PS IMO. I may get a back from BSE in the meantime since I don't currently have anything on the back... do wish PS would announce when they're going to have the front/back set available.

Do I really need to leave my phone off for 24 hours after I install this? Really? No, really?
