What makes Tweetbot so much better than the offical twitter app? i really like the offical one but what makes this one so good?

and this is why this rating system is stupid... which lame nagged everyone for liking twitter for iPhone?

macrumors used to be a good forum, USED TO BE.

I've now switching over to using the official Twitter app in preparation for the intergration with iOS5. I actually kind of like the apps on my iPhone, iPad, and MB Pro

I'm an official twitter app fan. I feel its the most lean and fast. I like the tweetbot features but can't get comfortable with the interface and speed.

Just bought Tweetbot after seeing so many people saying they use it. What is "post in background"?

When you click the button on top the draft window will close and it will post in the background. You can even close the app right way.

Tweetbot

Tapbots design the nicest and slickest apps. Own all 5 of their apps.

I just bought Tweetbot and I'm considering buying Calcbot. Is Calcbot fast? Does it take a couple seconds to open or does it open as fast as the stock calculator app (which opens instantaneously)?

Edit: I'm not very patient so I bought it and yeah it does open just as fast but I can't seem to figure out how to view my calculation history..?

I was down voted for thanking someone for his advice on an app. This place it harsh! haha

Surely this is why apple decided to add twitter on to get more to use the official one

Yes it's really fast at launching as you've prob noticed. Swipe down to reveal the history.

my vote for tweetbot to. Also pastebot is great by tapbots.

Tweetlogix (needs push) >>> Tweetbot (needs picture preview in feed support) >>> Tweetdeck (needs instapaper/readitlater support) >>> Twitter for iPhone
