TweetDeck used to be fantastic. It also connects with all of your other TweetDeck interfaces [like somebody mentioned with Echofone]. It's really fallen in quality, though. I use Twitter now, but I think I'm going to try TweetBot after this thread.

In the end I think Twitter for iPhone has the most polished UI and is fast. Tweetbot is pretty slow.

Tweetbot is extremely fast in my experience, at least on par with the official Twitter client. I am very picky about UI and Tweetbot is perhaps the most polished app on my phone.

TweetBot just needs preview pics included in your timeline and a dark theme & it'll be perfect. Still an excellent app as is.

I gave Tweebot another shot because of this thread. I still cannot do it. The UI seems very childish and looks like it should be on an Android phone.

Twitter for iPhone definitely lacks some features that Tweetbot has, but it has a MUCH cleaner UI and seems like it belongs on the iPhone. To me, the better UI with 90% of the features works better for me. I feel like many people on here shy away from Twitter for iPhone because it's the "standard" iPhone Twitter app and it doesn't seem "cool" enough. Not all, but some - I'm sure.

My thoughts exactly. I just can't get into the ui of Tweetbot. Way too boxy or mechanical. Just not pleasing at all to look at.

Echofon. Was the first twitter app I got and having tried all the others, always end up back at Echofon. Although I wish they'd put the refresh button back. Not a fan of "pull down to refresh"

Twitter for iPhone isn't a bad app by any stretch of the imagination, but it does lack two features that I consider critical for me: (1) browsing @ replies to a message and (2) easy access to lists.

Tweetbot does both with aplomb while providing icings such as tweet mark (for synchronizing last viewed tweet across other Twitter clients). True to Tapbots fashion, the app does look a bit different, but having used Android, I can't say the app in anyway resembles something that would be on Android.

I think this thread should be restarted with a poll at the beginning. Although Tweetbot certainly seems to have a nice fan base. I've never used it. What do y'all think about qtweeter? I like being able to just drop it down. Or does that not count because it's only for making posts?
