PHEW! They just charged my credit card and the order status changed to "Order Received" just minutes after I called the BB phone number to only see that there is a 45min wait.
Just called Best Buy and after a 10 min wait they picked up and looked at my order. She was able to confirm that the charge was authorized and they are trying to get everyone updated. She assured me that I will be getting my phone tomorrow morning at the store!

I went to BestBuy and they checked in the back they had a shipment of iPhone X in but they have not sorted them out to individuals yet. I did check when I got home and the status has changed to "Preparing".
I think mine will update when the actual mobile store opens at or after 11 AM. Either way I will show up at opening friday to get phone!
that's funny you mention that, best buy website is still showing the silver 64gb as available for pickup Nov 15th......maybe they'll be expecting more stock to come in for that color and storage combination?

Ordered 256 Silver, full price, at 5:56AM pacific time. status "pre-ordered/processing". Tried to order on Apple at midnight but didn't get in till :11 after, by then pushed back to late November. Tried Best Buy in the morning and got November 10 in store pick up (San Diego area). Hoping it will come earlier . . .

You can only get there by link. If you try to navigate there on site you can’t.
same here, I'm in southern California and ordered yesterday, says that it should be available for pickup the 15th of November........fingers crossed
If you ordered and have a nov 3rd date, it's already set aside. You can try to go tomorrow to get loose inventory but you better be there at like 6am at least lol. Just on any regular day at best buy there are people standing outside a half hour before they open for this or that. Tomorrow there will be a line I'm sure.Still 11/10 on my order
Will Best Buy be getting any walk-in stock? Is it worth stopping by tomorrow morning? Or would my pre-order already get pulled automatically if they did get extra stock?
I have a 11/10 pickup date. And when I called the Best Buy near me they said that if they have "extra inventory" after the 11/3 preorders are taken care of, they will automatically go to those with later dates.
Whatever happens whether you get an email notifying you if BB has any stock or to set up a time for you to pick it up, I suggest to go to Best Buy and show your email with the order #.
I personally hope more people go early because I don't want to wait for the other 16 to get their's. My time frame to go to BB is only between 10a-11a, 3p-4p, and after 8p. Even when I went there yesterday, it was almost 3p.
Not in a rush to get it because I need money to play a horse race the next day, but the earlier people go get theirs', the better for my convenience.
In less than 24 hrs, we will all know for sure. But I suggest going there and showing your email with order # no matter what. Create your own luck which can turn into good luck.
Crap, it's raining hard as I type this. Yes, please go early tom especially if you are going to the Yorba Linda one! I hate driving in rain. Hopefully, none tomorrow. Rock n roll!

I've never done a pre-order and pick up in store for BB and have a question.
I'm upgrading on AT&T Next. I still owe like 350 on my phone. I had planned to keep it and have AT&T bill me the remaining balance.
Is BB going to make me turn in my phone to them tomorrow?
I hope I can just walk in and pick it up and take it home to activate it and stuff. I want to unbox my phone not some greasy BB mobile sales guy.
