Pick up at store option has been unavailable and grayed out since day one of preordering.
My credit card was charged for the AppleCare only when preordered, but still has not charged for the UW
So, if you buy their TotalTech you get AppleCare+ for free on unlimited number of devices purchased from them? So, if I buy MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, iPhone, AW and I would get AppleCare+ for free for all of them? If that's the case that's insane value?I did have a pickup option for the phone since UPS comes at 7PM and FedEx at 2PM so I was there at 10AM to grab it. Only 2 of us were there for iPhone pre-orders. I live in the middle of nowhere.
Watch and AirPods I was only able to have shipped. Now, I can login and change AirPods to store pickup but I can't make any changes to Ultra which gives me hope that they are about to ship. Back to my store being middle of nowhere, they don't carry stainless steel or edition watches so my assumption is that they would not be carrying the Ultra in-store and that's why it was only able to be shipped.
Here's how they look for me:
Until yesterday, I could 'make shipping changes' on the watch but now it's greyed out. My BestBuy card has not been charged yet.
Side-Note, I've had TotalTech for 11 months and I'm absolutely going to be renewing in October:
Ive used their restocking fee waiver a lot and they've replaced my drone for free and installed a dishwasher + haul away for free. Then the $180 is all AppleCare savings.
Guess let me clarify, lol. Maybe the one I wanted will not be in stores. Giving you hope. I may just wait to get it at Verizon on Friday, lol.
Yes you do. I have it on all my Apple devices free. It pays for itself and worth it for TotalTech if you buy often from BB.

In the past, orders from bestbuy have been an even mix of FedEx, UPS and USPS. Hope to see some updates soon!

In a chat with a BB rep, I was told that AWU's are "boxed and ready to ship" but they are awaiting "authorization" from Apple to be shipped. When I inquired about the "authorization" part of the reps reply, he stated that Apple needs to give final permission for release of the product which they have not obtained yet. Whether what the rep as telling me was smoke or legit, either away, my status still shows an ETA of 9.23.22 with the ability to cancel as of now. I expect forward progress by tomorrow. BB usually overnights my pre-orders to NYC.
I was told the same thing when I chatted with them earlier. I am interested to see if it does indeed ship out tomorrow or not. I live 10 minutes from an 
store, so I plan to head there early on Friday to see if I can land one with the trail loop. I am not thinking they will have any as the store online states that they are not available for in-store pick up as opposed to stating that availability can be checked 9-23. I was not planning on getting one on the day orders started.

I need a AT&T one . Worse case scenario if I get one from Apple Store unlocked and pay full . Hope you get the one you want!
i also got told by a chat rep that they are all in our store’s local warehouses for same day or next day delivery so we should be getting tracking numbers tomorrow!

Mine still says arriving Friday hopefully we start getting tracking information soon. I will update on here when I do. The anticipation is killing me. I preordered on September 8th. I got the Ultra with Orange Alpine Loop. The charged my card and it never fell off so they still have the money they charged.
I think we’ll known when/if our CC are charged tomorrow; for Friday delivery.
