When did you preorder? Card authorizations I think are usually 14 days and drop off after that
I guess you guys got tracking numbers? The BestBuy rep I spoke few days ago said they will only charge CC when the product ships.
Nope, I ordered 5 days ago and was charged immediately, I always am for every best buy pre order I've ever made actually, the order says it's coming on Friday and has not shipped. The order is fully confirmed, just waiting for it to ship.
I've never once ordered from BB as a pre order and not been charged, I've also never had an order get cancelled on me as well, only amazon doesn't charge me until it ships really from my experience.

Not lucky, just go through all the bands and find one that get's delivered on friday, I don't think there are any left but all of the ocean bands were available for launch day delivery as of 5 days ago. Everyone was using BB as a backup because of this, it's how I found out.
I did the extract thing you did, found the oceanic model and preordered, but I preordered 6 days before you did and haven’t had my CC charged or any status change or movement.

Yeah, could be a state thing, not sure, but all my pre orders (games/phones etc.) through BB are always charged immediately.
I don't prefer that lol, but yeah it's what I get.
Maybe it’s regional? I’m not charged until it ships or is ready for pick up…
There is a hold on the funds initially , but it drops off after 3 days.
I'm US and in Florida, it did the same thing when I lived in NY as well, never once had it happen a different way personally.
My same watch is showing as OCT 4th right now if I was to order it again right now. Even gave them a call today to see if everything was ok with the order because nothing had moved yet but I guess it hasn't for anyone.
My order page just switched to “packaging your item”
Glad we are starting to see orders processing! Best Buy is always last minute though. The PS5 launch was stressful as all hell. Tracking numbers came like the day before, so not much different here.
Correct. They charged my card initially, but it dropped after 3 days. Second charge came right before shipping/pickup. ( 5 PS5s; 3 Xboxes) 🤣. If I was doing pickup, I wasn’t charged until I actually picked the item up.
thanks for the info good to know they are moving along. Did you pre order on the same day it was announced?
