Reminders Bug?

I havent seen any other posts about this but i NEVER use reminders app, however my little location arrow is on 24/7 running my battery down and i found it to be reminders, when i turn off location in settings for that app alone, the arrow on the status bar will disappear. I thought it might be a bug because under battery life it doesnt appear to show reminders having used any battery at all, anyone else notice this?

It seems as though when you remove an app running in the background in Multitasking and go back to the home screen the Cellular Network Name, Time, and Battery percentage seem to take a few seconds to show up. I know it did't do that before.

Same here. Just did a Reset and that didn't help. iPhone 5s.

all the people who say "haven't got any battery issues" are full of crap or aren't really power users...beta 4 was horrendous when it came to battery life. it was beyond terrible never experienced something so dreadful

I believe you could consider me a power user: Background App Refresh ON, Location Services ALL ON with Frequent Locations, Push Mail accounts, Handoff & Suggested Apps ON, and a lot of Notifications turned ON, plus an app tracking my location constantly. And beta 4 battery life was one of the best of all iOS 8 beta. So just because somebody doesn't agree with you, doesn't mean they're full of crap.

I've just tried to restart my iPad using the sleep/wake button and the home button together method, and instead of rebooting to the Apple logo, the device automatically takes a screenshot - so to restart I now have to manually turn the device on and off. This issue has only occurred once I updated my iPad to iOS 8 B5 - it definitely didn't occur with B4 so must be software and not hardware related. I'm running iOS 8 B5 on an iPad 2 WiFi + 3G GSM.

Anyone having issues with icloud doing its daily backup? I didn't do the conversion to the new icloud drive yet. So, icloud should do a nightly backup when it is charging and connected to my home wifi but it isn't. I noticed that my iphone 5s (running b4 and now b5) hasn't done a backup in almost 2 weeks. I went and checked icloud settings and the backup is turned on. If I do a manual backup it works just fine.

I'm also having an issue where iMessage (it may occur with other apps too) notifications disappear immediately after appearing; you know you have one but can't read it as it disappears within a second.

Also problems with not being able to enter text when changing from portrait to landscape mode, and with text becoming gradually darker as I read across the screen - certainly not a problem with my eyes or hardware as I've consulted others who agree and have never experienced this issue before. Pressing the back button causes the text to scroll down so you can't see what your deleting - seen in 'Notes' and other apps.

If you ask me, B5 is one hell of a lot buggier than B4 - not that I'm complaining as I'm always hungry for the latest and greatest and the positives still outweigh the negatives by some distance.

Turn iCloud backup OFF and then back on, it will ask you to enter your password again. Then run a manual backup while on wifi and plugged in. This worked for me and backups are back to normal now.

Spotlight Search Crash to Respring

I have crashing to respring happening when I search up a location/store on Spotlight Search and go to Maps to look for that certain location/store.

Someone else test it and let me know if it happens to them.

Yes beta 4 was horrible in battery life. I though it was only me experiencing this. On beta 5 the battery life is much better!

Is anyone else experience a mail bug. When I get new mail, the sound plays and it shows under the "mailbox" heading, but when I swipe into the inbox the new mail isn't visible. Never had this happen until I got beta 5?

iPad 4. Reduce motion. App management (double tap home menu).

Seems to be missing some animation since it looks like it simply lags. Anyone else? It does not so this with reduce motion disabled.

Can someone report this?

I do believe that worked. Has anyone filed a bug report on this?

Might have a possible bug with Google Hangouts....

When you are in a conversation (hangout) with someone and you want to attach a pic, when you click on the icon to open the camera roll, it just has the spinning dial and never brings up the photos...

Can someone check this with their phone? I did not have this issue with Beta 4

App Store.

Any one else having a problem with the app store? My iPhone will not show any updates for apps in the app store.
