Can anyone confirm that the high CPU usage bug is fixed?
This is where the device becomes warm when steaming with Apple Music, seems to be fine with offline music. When the Music App is running in the background it will at times give you a huge performance drop, the device becomes very slow for a few moments - this is on the iPhone 6 Plus.

Don't tap the ". . ." (Three dots.) You're misunderstanding me.

Literally just tap the big square image to the left of the genre name (or artist, or album.)

Image 1 is where to tap in genre list view.
Image 2 is where to tap in artist list view.
Image 3 is where to tap while in artist and viewing thier albums.

This eliminates the step of further having to click into the genre (image 1), artist (image 2), album (image 3) to access shuffle all for each of those. The way you suggest, you would have to tap the genre then shuffle (or artist then shuffle, or album then shuffle) this way it's tap the icon on the left without having to go into each.

Okay, now I understand. It does work. I still think it's not very clear on how to do it. Obviously.

Thanks for the help.

Any chance one of you guys have an appleid account in a nonsupporting country with apple music and can check if it works in the beta?

Thats whats causing the performance issues for a lot of people including the slow wake issue, slowness allll over haha....others must have magic devices and never experience it. But i believe its been mentioned already its not fixed. And if this garbage isn't fixed in iOS 9 ill be on 8.3 for a loooong time.

I'm sure it will get fixed. I'm running iOS 9 Beta 3 on the iPad 3 and the Music App doesn't seem to slow it down with Apple Music.

I just wished that Apple allowed us to Beta test Apple Music way before launch!

I just want to fix the battery drain when using Apple Music, especially streaming. Internet radio always used more battery than on-board music but this is pretty bad in my experience.

Yeah, the whole app gets sluggish if you browse for more than a few minutes at a time. There's definitely an issue going on hogging resources.

No issues or changes at all? From the feedback I've read on 8.4 and so far nothing has changed, this build I will be on 8.3 for a while to come...

This is getting really old really fast, almost every iOS 8/8.x/8.xx release has been sub par! Is there a QA team? Do they even listen to customer feedback? Seems like they don't, Almost like Tim's Apple doesn't care knowing we will just buy another iPhone anyways.

I am on 8.3 but tried out 8.4 before I got my replacement (running 8.3) and battery life was horrid, the music app a disaster etc.

Ever since the 6/6+ us users got the crappy end of the stick! There is only so much a person can take before they ask what the ...... Is going on? Is the iOS team an elementary class? I've just about had enough! At least with other devices if something isn't working right there is always the option of downgrading not with Apple! No we are just a bunch of fanatics that keep taking it over and over again, "oh maybe next release will be better" or "Apple cares about us" (mean while their phone has functioned to its full potential in almost a year) when is enough enough?

Not all iOS 8 releases have been sub par for everyone. Actually it's only a very small percentage of people who do have issues. Just because you see some people on a forum talk about the same issue does not mean it's wide spread. Out of all the iPhone users, it's such a tiny percent that actually visit forums. And people who visit forums are typically to complain and not praise.

All of iOS 8 (8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4) have all functioned great for me. iOS 8's life span has been split evenly between an iPhone 5 and 6. (Swapped to a 6 just before 8.3 public beta started.)

There's no reason to get so upset over software. It's not like you're forced into using it. There are options available to suit your needs.

Well, if you've updated and can't go back to 8.3, then aren't they forcing you to use the software?

I don't think Bluetooth can be updated through software. It needs a new chip I believe.
Nope supposedly it can. At least 4.0 chipsets Read more

"Crucially, Bluetooth 4.1 is an upgradeable path for all existing Bluetooth 4.0 devices as well. The changes can be made (at the manufacturer’s discretion) through patches applied over the air. Consequently devices you already own may be about to get a lot smarter."

And interesting read here
"Last, but certainly not least, the 4.1 updates are more software than hardware in nature, meaning devices that currently support Bluetooth 4.0 should be able to be upgraded to Bluetooth 4.1 through a software update. Whether or not OEMs and carriers will fast-track those updates is an entirely different topic."

Seems Apple would be crazy NOT to do this. Seems at least one advantage is it makes BT more compatible with LTE.

Pretty much the same here. Old 4s before iPhone 6 came out and it got a tad slow on 8 but functionally it worked. Not really any issues with the 6 after about 8.0.2 (I was lucky and could not get 8.0.1 to download). I guess 8.1 was when it really got more stable and only got better with each update for me.

Well the only build that I consider above par is 8.3. all others haven't worked properly for me.

No reason to get upset about software? When your device doesn't function like all the other iPhones you have had in the past! even though this ones specs blow the iPhone 4 out of the water it functions worse in my opinion (software cause) I am forced into using it as I don't have the $600+ laying around to buy a new phone you might, therefore I am stuck with this as there are no other options ATM.
