Happens to me too. For some reason in Settings>Notification Center>Messages, the Banners alert style keeps resetting itself to None. It's really frustrating.
 
my messages notifications was set to none as well when I just checked it but I was gettign notifications from Bitesms when locked just fine.. Haven't tried unlocked..

I have noticed that my brightness was getting turned down to low automatically when locked and getting a notification.. But don't know if that was a fluke or not.

I experienced this when I first installed bitesms. I went in to notification center settings and turned banners on and it has stayed put so far.

I reset all settings and it seems to have resolved the issue. The odd thing for me though was, I turned off keyboard sounds after resetting and the issue came back. I turned them back on and it has not done it since. I can't say that makes any sense but that is my experience. This was occurring prior to doing the jailbreak though. I hoped the jb would fix it but it did not. iOS 7 bug maybe?

I'm glad Pay-Pal holds transactions for a long time.

I had to dig the transaction out and key in the last 4 parts.

Ugh... It's been a couple years I think, since I bought it. So, it didn't restore my license, and I got a really bad headache after searching through a couple thousand transactions lol. I just bought it again. Third time. ;)

What's home screen designer? It's not in Cydia's standard repos. I don't see anything that does what Shrink did and what Iconoclasm did, but works with iOS 7 and A7 devices.

It's on the BigBoss repo. It's named HomescreenDesigner (no spaces between the words, hopefully that helps you find it). It is like iconoclasm and iconoclasm layout maker rolled into one app. It's by the developer of iconoclasm layout maker.
 
I am definitely having the issue where it goes from alerts or banners back to none constantly. Other than that, no problems to this point ;)

Mine keeps resetting itself as well. I'd rather have banner notification active instead of the alerts view that seems to be the default. Anyone able to fix it?

Open settings>quick reply and uncheck auto show quick reply in both locked and unlocked modes. I have not had any issues since I did that. Someone posted it on the beta forums of bitesms ;)

Thanks, seems to be working so far. I only had unlocked mode unchecked.
 
Are you guys having issues if you use iMessage on another device? Say I text/reply from my iPad. As soon as I get to my phone BiteSMS plays catch-up and pops up quick reply for 20+ (or whatever the amount of replies I had) on the lock/home screen. I have to hit later until all messages are read. Is there a workaround or fix for this? Ideally I'd like for the latest message maybe to pop up, not all of my messages while I was away from the phone.
 
Downloading the 5s beta now. I was an iRealSMS junkie but it looks like they've given up on iOS7. Looking forward to playing with Bite and comparing.
