bite

Well worth every penny. was a relief when i could JB 4.01 and reinstall it. had it on 3G. Knew I had paid already. Very smooth.

Am I the only one that likes their icon?

It doesn't bother me. Then again, I'm female and have a pink bumper on my iPhone 4. :D

I do think the chat bubble with a bite out of it icons I've seen are a bit better though.

LOL, well Im male, with no pink bumper. ALthough now that you mention it I do like the version of their stock icon with the bite out of it.

Not in iOS 7

The App is now free for what I can see and they trying to monetise on ads, however, with the new iOS7 message interface, I honestly (without being a hater) don't see any advantages in using BiteSMS. Yes it used to be awesome but now... they better come up with some ingenious ideas to make the app come back to the limelight.

Not worth 8.99 imho. What more do you want from a texting app? Schedule a text...meh

I reckon the quick compose is a killer feature! It's still buggy and slow (especially on lock screen quick compose) but can't live without it. Bitesms is a tweak/app that Apple should learn from.

That isn't a must have for me either. Takes just a sec to open the app and reply from thread. This is me talking.

Then it just isn't for you. For someone who is constantly texting, it's a nuisance to have to go from the current app, double tap the home button, send message, then double tap and go back to previous app.

I bought it when it was half off. But regardless, it's a great app with a ton of great features the stock messages app is missing. Quick reply/compose one of those. Worth the $8 in my opinion.
